After 12 hours? Wow. I have not had a chance to listen to the album in full yet, but you’re getting me excited.
Last album I liked the majority of songs was avocado. Hate the previous 3 and like DM thus far. On this day 21 years ago I witnessed one of the most unique versions of Porch they have done. Day before was my first show. Seeing them in Philly and likely cancelling fan club afterwards. You can get better tickets via ftf unless you have a real low 10c #.
Possibly. Part of the issue is I’ve heard the songs from those two albums 8 million times and just can’t listen to them anymore besides a few.
Gonna need another listen. Not really any memorable songs after one listen for me besides Wreckage and Dark Matter.
lol, no. Ten is still a perfect album and either of Vs and Vitalogy would be the best album for most bands.
There's a note in the "Running" guitar solo at the end that reminds me of "Rearview Mirror" every time
After multiple listens, I like this album a lot and it gets better every time I hear it. I have some favorites, but there really isn’t a song I’m overly excited to hear. It’s a bunch of really solid songs and no real classics.
On "Wreckage" -- He couldn't have gone with "all those yesterdays?" That callback would have made me ("I’m needing for the light Stormy is the grey Rivers overflowing Drowning all our yesterdays")
The Sonics/PJ crossover merch for the Seattle shows is really cool. Too bad you have to be in-person at the venue or the Sub Pop store to buy it
they closed it out with Keep on Rocking in the Free World with I think Willie Nelson's grandson? it was for sure a country singer with last name Nelson.
I listened to an interview with him with Mark Maron. He said Yield was THE album that was played in his house growing up.
Requested two for both Pittsburgh shows. My wife said "why would be go to the same show twice?" I was speechless.
Mine does not have Pearl Jam because it's all my 12 year old listening to Sum 41 and other punk stuff.
