Based on not hiring a high school 7on7 coach to coach nothing but special teams and having awful special teams. Based on not coaching down 1 on field coach one year because he didnt want to fire his friend. Theres tons more but those stick out. Im not saying Norvell is it or he'll work out but its not up for debate that he's 100x better than Taggart.
But Norvell also employed one of the worst DC’s in America who might as well be a 7 on 7 coach and brought him back after last years atrocious performance. I can understand bringing in somebody to aid in defensive play calls to improve that area of the ball but to make zero changes….unless that’s what the hire of Randy Shannon was supposed to do not to mention the hiring of Bartow, the revolt by his players last year after that stupid statement he put out don’t get me wrong willie was certainly worse…but I’m disagreeing that the last year and 2 games has been 100x better

I don’t really know what the big deal is with the guy. I don’t think anything you’ve said is wrong on Norvell. He lost all goodwill yesterday. Norvell has the current recruiting class as his positive and holding onto fuller as his negative. It’s not going to get easier for him going forward. I’d let Norvell go if he couldn’t get to 5 wins and/or kept fuller around if we had Bama money.
