Bornstein Sucks, but he had to make the 23. There was no one else. Remember that they only dress 18 for the games, so I doubt that Bornstein will dress unless injuries or cards come into play.

 

Findley is a bit of an interesting addition and at the expense of guys like Bedoya and Rogers, im not sure I agree with it. Otherwise, every other pick is what I would have gone with

 

So anyone else think 4 forwards making it (Altidore, Gomez, Buddle, Findley) is a bad sign for anyone hoping to see Dempsey play up top?

 

out of everything i've read, no one had Findley on their predicted 23. very strange.

 

I think Altidore and Gomez are your two starting forwards

 

That was odd to me as well.

 

I could live with that. But that means that Gomez is more valuable as a starter than Holden, Torres, Feilhaber, & Clark. All those guys would be subs if Dempsey starts on the right side.

 

I hate Brian Ching as much as the next guy, but I really don't think Robbie Findley is any better than him.

 

We cant afford to put Dempsey up top. We need him and his creativity in the buildup too much.

not completely sure about Donovan in the middle. would love to see him utilized on the wing like he was at Everton

 

True, but he's also 6 years younger than him. I only think we play 3 true forwards and move Dempsey up top from time to time
