Horvath was playing in the UEFA Champions League playoffs last year at 20 years old.

    Far bigger needs

People in the know- is there any chance of Kyle Scott playing for us, or is he all England?

Apparently he was the best player on the field for Chelsea's U23's today.

'02 Galaxy Academy prospect, Efrain Alvarez, is going to play with Mexico for a camp. He's been in every USYNT camp for his age group, so he might just be seeing what the experience is like.

He's a mega prospect, probably a level above Pulisic at the same age. Hopefully it's just a cup of tea and reaffirms with the US as a couple others have done before.

I fear that if CCV keeps playing better and better England may come calling

Yes I believe so. His dad became a naturalized citizen and played for their basketball team

Better call him up. If he's good enough to start for an above average EPL team he's good enough to get a start for the national side

CB are pretty depth right now though with Brooks/Cameron. Tons of prospects lead by CCV.

Could easily make a case for CCV as a 3rd/4th CB on the roster at this point.

Well CCV isn't a regular starter and Gooch isn't on an above average team is why I ask.

I'd rather have CCV than Omar or Orozco though

I want to lock both in to USA - looking at the big picture, not the immediate.

Think Gooch can choose England or Ireland as well. Just rather not play with fire with either.

I do think Vickers has generational talent tho.

Doesn't matter that he's not a regular starter. He's obviously a stud and isn't locked in yet to the NT, so that should be a priority.

I'm sure it will be eventually but I was going off your statement of him being a starter for an above average EPL club he's good enough to start for us. He's a bench player/cup starter at the moment was all I was saying. Brooks/Cameron should be our CB pair but I'd be happy with him as 3rd CB and he will take over for Cameron hopefully.

Brooks/CCV is a CB pair of the future worth getting excited about

Pretty surprised Haji wasn't called in. Wonder who we put up top.

Lennon, McKennie, De La Torre, and Zelly is a nasty midfield though.

Haven't heard much about him in a while but apparently Marlon Fossey (Called up for the U20's tmw) has been going the full 90 pretty regularly for Fulham's U23's with Luca. Just turned 18 last month.

Andrew Carleton continues to look really good. Sick volley on that second goal.

snowfx2 or El_Pato or somebody. Can you explain to me what exactly a homegrown contract entails? How long is he locked into Atlanta and is there anything special about it?
