Busio, Bello, Reyna, Atencio, Scally, Judge, Las among others. ‘02 kids are very talented.
I was disappointed, but laughed.
Apparently this kid blew up at the recent U17 tournament in England. Team got 2nd.
Scally had the run into the box and the cross on the first goal. He, Bello, and Yow the standouts.
Here's all the goals. 1-3 v. England, 3-2 comeback win v. Brazil, 2-1 win v. Russia.
2001's after Konrad seemed like it fell off pretty hard compared to the 2000's, but 2002 looks massive already with Bello, Scally, Busio, Reyna, Dunning, and Yow.
“I think he’s one of those players that has the ability to be special,” said Vermes. “He’s in one of those positions that are hard to develop: attacking No. 10. He’s a guy that can give the final pass, can score a goal, can make the goal on his own with a pass, can make a goal on his own with his own dribble or what have you. I really think the sky’s the limit. The kid just has great qualities.”
There's only 4 non-spaniards on Juvenil A btw
I think this is a good move. Let the teams like RBNJ, Philly, SKC, FCD, etc that have great academy’s take all the talent and make those in the bottom of the league improve theirs. Better for everyone but the NYC, PTFC, HOU, SJ, etc who have subpar academies.
how do you pronounce Xuxuh?
His mom is brazilian and that's the way "xu" sounds in portuguese.
Match is on Univision Deportes and concacafgo.com
2-0 US right now.
Ended up 7-1
I thought it was “Shoo-shu” but I could be wrong
Could be. The other way was what a read online but that's what they could have meant.
Play USVI next and could probably win by 5 playing with 8 men and no goalie.
Llanez is really good
Llanez has a point in all 5 goals with a hat trick and 2 assists
This format of inviting all the shitty Caribbean teams sucks.
U20 playing an average HS squad
Up 1-0 the 7th min on a Brandon Servania strike
Game is real concacafy
Always pisses me off the way these tournaments get officiated. No matter how bad a challenge is, they will not give cautions for the first few bad ones, so teams always get away with a few at the beginning, and that sets the tone for a gross and reckless game.
So basically, just like with the mens teams.
The move at :36 mark
Dest, Richards, and Soto added to the U20s. Play Costa Rica on Friday
Mendez is filthy
2-0 now through Llanez
3-0, looks like they're gonna qualify
Ref letting this match getting too physical
That pass tho
We're going to Poland in May
Krakow is awesome, Warsaw is pretty shitty
Beat Honduras 1-0 and play Mexico in the finals.
It was 2 groups of 3 with the top 2 qualifying for the WC; the winners playing in the final. Honduras and Costa rica tied, then we beat cr 4-0. Honduras knew as long as they didn't lose by 4 they were going to poland, so they let McKenzie and richards pass the ball back and forth for 40 minutes after they went down 1-0.
lol sucks to suck Ticos
Couldn’t happen to a better country (sans Mexico)
Mendez and Pomykal again combine for the 2nd goal
Dos a Cero. Back-to-Back CONCACAF U20 Champs.
And did that without Adams, Sargent, Amon, Weah, Durkin, and Carleton. Mexico had their "A" team, including Diego Lainez.
Was Efra playing for Mex? Hopefully he sees his buddy Mendez tearing it up and jumps to Germany with him to get out of that awful Galaxy system.
No, he plays for Mexico’s U17s.
This is audacious for an 18 yo American player (Bottom clip)
