there is so much land over there by the airport that it makes a ton of sense just not sure if they have population base to justify it, would be cool though.
joe scally starts a friendly for mönchengladbach and a 19 year old germerican cb named michael wentzel is on the bench
I don’t know much about Serie A, but the more I read about Venezia, the more I wonder if this is a good move for any of them.
17 year old Yaya Toure getting his debut with Colorado. He’s a winger out of the Red Bull system. Don’t know much else.
Busi-who? His replacements already better it seems… Spoiler Cam Duke will not see time with the national team but fun stats from a young Yanks first ever start
And I feel Pepi is a unicorn in our player pool. Fox in the box, finishes everything type. We don’t have anyone like that. Ochoa looking at the plethora of GK options we always have, yeah sniff around kid. Araujo figuring he’s already 5th on the RB (now 6th since he turned down a call up and Moore has looked great), sure talk to Tata. He could legit be the everyday #9 with the USMNT in a few years with his skill set.
They're great at selling home grown assets. Thank God they don't do anything useful with the money lol
joe scally started and picked up an assist vs bayern munich today malik tillman, a germerican attacking mid, started for bayern with chris richards and taylor booth both coming on as subs michael wentzel, a germerican cb for monchengladbach, came on in the 70th min and scored as well #rbu
I thought scally was pretty unimpressive in the youth World Cup a year or so back. he looks fantastic for Gladbach this preseason. I should’ve learned from hockey that youth national team tournaments with new coaches and teammates are a shitty way to judge players.
when you say germerican, are these kids pretty much locked into the US program or are these kids we'd have to fight for if Germany came calling?
wentzel does not appear to have represented germany or usa at international youth levels. guessing he may accept a call up if we extended an invite (whether it’s with a youth team or the senior team). can probably slow play him though since he’s probably going to be with mönchengladbach’s u23s this season (totally guessing, maybe he gets promoted to the first team like scally) https://www.transfermarkt.us/michael-wentzel/profil/spieler/592356 tillman has repped usa u15s, but has more recently been playing for germany from u15s-u18s according to transfermarket. he was supposedly really good before tearing his acl last year and he’s just now coming back from it. seems like if germany wants him, he’s theirs. https://www.transfermarkt.us/malik-tillman/profil/spieler/467437 malik tillman also has an older brother, timothy, who plays on the same team as julian green. he also came from the bayern academy as well. i believe he usually came off the bench for fürth last year, so he’s probably not on germany’s radar (and probably usa’s with our options not being as limited as they used to) https://www.transfermarkt.us/timothy-tillman/profil/spieler/310662
