I would trade the USC program for a pair of deadstock Oregon 3's
take Marcus arroyo, user Handcuffed and you have a deal
You guys have to keep Chatch and Baciami
fine. One doesn’t really post and the other only likes all of my posts
BAC quit the team board after we said everyone should root for Antifa over the Proud Boys during the Portland skirmish. It was amazing
tough look for Tony DeSanFrancisco
the last time I ever poked my head around at any of the USC boards @FREEKOBE was posting the usual boomer right-wing drivel which is hilarious given he begged for literal handouts on the Peristyle after he got laid off from Best Buy
i didn’t know this
I’m quitting now too
Yea quit a week ago as well
You didn’t notice that he stopped posting?
The good thing about being a sc fan(I guess because I am not one) is that you are always one hire away from being in the top five every year, the talent available is so good and UCLA or Stanford won’t steal a lot of elite guys.
It is easily the most attractive job in college football imo.
Not especially. He ducked in and out periodically and I see him on 247 and I’ve been extremely busy lately
if you compare the amount of "analysts" and recruiting staff at USC to the major SEC schools, USC is woefully outmatched. Other than the recruiting base (which is weak at OL/DL) the job doesn't have the support/perks of a top SEC gig.
It’s true, siding with Nazis does not poll well with our fan base. We are aware of how brave that makes us.
Did not know that, that is not good. Why is it like this? Do the admin think that even a top 5 program is not worth the money invested in a staff?
Hard for me to understand but I am obviously watching from a college football fan perspective.
the previous administration at USC was concerned with fund-raising and academic prestige, not athletic success. A lot of the academic types resent when a school is known more for football than more "worthy" endeavors. Notre Dame football also suffers from this same administration viewpoint IMO.
back to the shanty town known as east of the 405
man I was in Escondido / Poway all weekend fml
Notre Dame has one of the biggest support staffs in college football
Team handcuffed. F the h8erz.
If this is true...damn lol
How can they justify this? Bringing Clay back as a dead man walking only adds more uncertainty. Never seen anything quite like this.
It’s almost like we don’t truly want to field a team anymore but are forced to and are choosing to trot out a “nice guy” who will keep us out of trouble. Oh well
In 4 years he has had a top 5 team, a top 10 team, a conference title, and has amassed top 5 talent (though not evenly balanced). The only time he hasnt recruited at an elite level was when there was uncertainty, now that they are publicly backing him that uncertainty will be lessened.
The best thing they could do to completely kill the uncertainty is a nice 20 years contract extension with a huge buyout attached to it.
I chalked up Swann's inaction to sheer laziness, apparently this new guy is just an idiot?
I hope we get killed in our bowl game
All the scandals of the last decade have done a number on the admin. The ppl in control now just want a clean, scandal-free program.
It's like that scene from The Wire when Cutty goes to Avon after freezing up on that hit: “the game ain’t in me no more.”
Conspiracy theory: Urban looked at the ‘20 schedule and decided he doesn’t want to lose to Saban in his first game. Plus, he gets to see what happens with the Cowboys, and if that doesn’t work out he can chill in LA another year.
Take it from #Colorado Buffaloes, yes.
you mean that time in 2009 (10?) when Bohn should have fired Hawkins mid season, but instead decided to go to Hawaii with the basketball team? And then Hawkins begged for his job to the Chancellor and president and left us with that abortion for another 9 games the following season?
Mike Bohn an inept jackass?
I would have never expected it.
This recruiting class so far. Man, we are are going to continue to suck.
school doesn't care about sports anymore, just enjoy the Lakers
sorry, so cal bros :/
We've turned into UCLA...
Well that's a blast from the past
I ask because I could not believe it. Sc had the worst recruiting class in the P12?
I am now considering that clay Helton is watching this thread and his goal is to destroy your argument that sc is one of the most talented team in the country...no matter the cost
You guys should’ve hired herminator
As much as I hate SC, that's sad. I much prefer you guys run the P12 and get stomped by ND every year to you guys going to shit.
No need to update the thread title, right boys?
Nope or you could add "and the usc admin"
