How does the TMB USC crowd feel about Peterson? Personally it seems like he goes out of the way to dominate the offense and takes everyone else out of it. Mobley should be taking the most shots each game but never seems to. I’ve probably only watched 1 combined game of the season in total though so could be way off base
I don't think you're way off base but i think the same could be said for Mobley at times, it's nice to have such a tall/versatile team but the offense can be bogged down like crazy at times without having a traditional PG out there to set guys up
When your team has sucked for so long its amazing how out of touch one can be. Im so lost on this Jordan Addison stuff. Now the peristyle (247 board) is mad at Danny Kanell, I thought the transfer portal was closed, then I thought we landed Addison but then he was in Vegas not LA over the weekend. Im lost.
The ins and outs of college football are a lot less fun to follow these days, I’ll just stick to the games and wait for the inevitable Bama/UGA title game
when your coaches aren’t interested in recruiting or winning it’s quite liberating. You only have to worry about what’s on the menu and if you’re drinking bourbon or beer that Saturday. That and you hope to win Mora than you lose.
Did a recruiting video at one of my spots last week (my buddy is on USC staff). Got to see/hold all 6 Heismans in person which was pretty dope.
Fuck SC but OJ is a fucking double murderer. The rest are just assholes who went to a school I hate although it think Palmer and Leinart are huge chuds.
How many wins to consider this a successful season? Eight seems like a good start. Also, it's fun to be excited about games again.
As pumped as I am for the season I'm hoping for 9 wins but I can see us ending up with 8. My concern is depth. I know the staff went crazy in the portal but I can't forget how bad we were last season and how horrible the recruiting has been.
Boys - just layed $500 on Caleb Williams Heisman futures at +375 -Incredible talent -Lincoln Reilly factor, guy churns out heismans -No obvious conference juggernaut Please confirm my priors
Vegas o/u is 9.5. Incredibly easy schedule, tougher games are later in the season allowing the team to gel under a new regime. More talent than anyone on their schedule.
Utah and ND seem like definite losses. To get to 10 wins the team would have to sweep the rest of the schedule, which just feels difficult in any coach's first year. 9 wins would be a good season, 10 wins a great season
Per 247. Whether that talent has been developed and the distribution of that talent is another thing all together.
66 against a weak team? Couldn't have gone better. There's a new sheriff in town. Next week will answer some questions.
