feels like an 8-5 type transition season. Thank goodness Helton learned from his past mistake and named Daniels the starter. Still want Helton fired but the school has bigger things to worry about right now. I'm kind of down on college football as a whole, this is the least amped I've been for a season possibly ever, and that isn't because of the team.
I'm just fairly disillusioned with the sport. 21 year old me wouldn't have cared much about the Urban Meyer stuff beyond Rivals caliber shit talking, now stuff like that really makes me enjoy CFB a lot less.

No, he's just gonna get more chances. Thought the defense played well outside of a couple big plays. O-line was less than impressive until later in the game when depth became a factor. Stanford and Texas will have equal depth and for that reason we'll likely struggle.

What is the issue so far, too young? Ol? Defense? You guys have talent but not very deep I don’t think Helton is a great coach but I thought he was a safe hire that would keep sc top 15 every year. Underperforming a bit but always winning the games you should win and not get blown out. He is done at this point I would think.
Top 5 talent level but barely a top 25 product on the field. Coaching coaching coaching. Helton will never get you to the playoffs so if that’s your goal you need to cut bait now.
Not sure they are top 5, really did not take a good look at their recruiting but weis used to bring in top 5 -10 classes but it was not balanced at all. They always get the skills, they don’t always recruit enough depht on the lines
Yes age is a factor but it is not the primary factor. There is no progression and growth from our older players and our coaches are getting out coached in every aspect. Don't take this as some of us saying with better coaching we would be undefeated. That is not the case but with better coaching we would be more competitive with things to build on going into 2019.

We gave up like 20 20+ yard plays on defense to jet sweeps, even fucking Tulsa gashed us. For w/e the fuck reason, your OC didn't run it once or didn't bother installing/practicing one.
He is not my oc but I agree that he sucks, the gameplan against Nd last year was as bad as it could’ve been. On offense and defense. It’s like they had no idea what Nd could do well
