Since the women were brought up... Tyler Adams is supposed to do what Crystal Dunn does for the women. She is technically a LB but she's basically never back there. Granted the teams and circumstances are different. I'm not getting into that. All I'm saying is that the idea of Crystal Dunn is what GB prays Adams can be for the men. If it fails then he deserves all of the shit but if you're looking for an example to go by
US women are dominate and the US men cant complete 3 passes and cross midfield. Let's see how this works Gregg.
We've been over this a lot ITT. It's not that Adams going forward in the RB spot isn't quite beneficial for the MNT. It's that that's not even his best attribute. That's getting pressure to the ball in the middle of the field- which the US has had absolutely none of the last 3 games with Wil Trapp there- and that defensively in that spot it removes his ability to do so. Also Yahoo just confirmed Adams is out anyway haha kill me.
Yeah playing Adams at RB is most annoying because he is our best player and should be the first choice at his position. Yes even above Bradley.
Not disagreeing with any of it - just really getting into the example of it working for someone. But you're all correct - it relies on that talent in the back feeding someone capable in the middle/up front. And unless they are entirely banking on Adams>Pulisic>?????>Profit I don't see it as the best idea either. But at least I've seen something like this work for someone so I guess that's the thinking.
Adam's watched that bullshit this weekend and grabbed his groin and said I'm good. Dont blame him if he is being played out of position
In two weeks I'm supposed to go see my first national team game and the last week has just made me sad.
Agreed. I’ve seen the men’s team a bunch of times, mostly in Columbus and also at the 2014 World Cup. Even the losses have fun moments and are cool atmospheres. Sunday was their first ever game in Cincinnati though so that was disappointing. Hopefully we get more games in the future with our new stadium coming.
I'm a Rutgers fan and I know when it's time to burn something to the ground. And its always time to burn something to the fucking ground.
He obviously didn’t know what he was talking about, the press release says an “acute ON chronic” injury so exactly what jcort said. He said in his replies he thought acute meant painful and chronic meant long time.
I knew I'd get well actuallied but you aren't wrong. He's still garbage, its amazing he seemingly got worse year on year.
Hmmm, Jozy to Mexico has seemed inevitable for about 13 months but I always figured Bradley would land at LAFC after his contract ends.
