This makes me so happy and so nervous at the same time. I don’t like Chelsea holding the future of American soccer in its hands but Sarri seems like a perfect tutor.

He’s a backup that’s losing value, and they have needs in other positions

 

Think the quoted price is higher than what it was in summer so not sure about losing value, and he's started a bunch of games this season

 

He played 3,000 minutes last year. He’s on pace to do about the same this year. He’s 20. You don’t go from not for sale at any price in June to sold in January

 

Also the January window rarely sees young talents go for big bucks.

Well, considering McKennie, Nagbe,and LDLT went home, Adams, Guzan, and Long have the playoffs in less than a week, and Saief isn't match fit I'd imagine most anything we could throw out there could be considered wholesale changes.

Probably gonna run a 5-3-2 with Moore and robinson as wing backs or something
