He's been fantastic so far. Some really pretty/dangerous passes and combination play

 

I need to upgrade to a 4K because I keep confusing Adams with #20.

 

Main takeaway for me at halftime is that it's insane how well he fits in with this team already. (Probably has a lot to do with the connection between NY and Leipzig)

He's passing and moving well, and his ball pressure is paying huge dividends even when he isn't the one making the play, because they have so many players that can fly around at his pace and work rate.

It's funny looking back less than 2 years ago at the number of people that thought Adams had no future as a 6/8 (Not necessarily on here, jut US fans in general) and should've started the transition to right back.

He’s looked just as comfortable and composed in both these games as he did in the MLS. Kid has ice in his veins and it should help open even more doors for the other young guys in MLS to move to Europe.

Would rather see Ramirez, Lewis, and Lleget rather than Zardes, Baird, and Roldan. I think Arriola will look really good. Glad we get to see if Zimmerman, Lima and Djordje flash again versus a better opponent.

Yeah about 80% of these guys won’t ever even see a qualifier.

 

Zardes and Baird get into great positions, but decision making and technical ability let's them down. Mihailovic had a rough 1st Half with the exception of a couple passes.

I'd take them out for Ramirez and Lewis, also would put Lletget in for Roldan.

 

I don't like the way Lalas and Twellman seem to be laying a foundation for explanations of future roster decision already, but I could also just be being paranoid.
