An easier way to cap-tie dual nationals? But really it’s just a way to play actual games instead of just friendlies during those international breaks.
Yedlin gives up a penalty in the 81st to go down 0-1 when Crystal Palace didn’t have any shots on target
I've long been team "Pulisic in the middle" with regards to the national team because of a simple lack of good options, but I have high hopes Pomykal is the solution to our CAM problems soon.
He could be but that work rate and defensive ability is pretty special. I like him as a box to box. But when you hear GGG talk he says there isn’t a single 10 or an 8 but a duel 10/8.
Surprised to see he’s back before Pulisic is.. or is it because Pulisic just isn’t cracking the lineup lately
Spent his entire tenure as USMNT manager parking buses, lumping the ball forward, and just trying to beat teams through brute force.
Was about to say how shitty he is tactically at actually getting this from a team that isn’t just on another level talent wise from who they are playing.
Apparently Miazga has been really, really good at Reading since he joined this season. Good to hear after the mini-disaster of his time at Nantes. Between him and Brooks we should have a couple guys that can dominate in the air against CONCACAF competition.
Mignolet looked to leave Liverpool last summer, but priced himself out of a move to Italian suitors Napoli, while Liverpool’s decision to send Loris Karius on a two-year loan ultimately forced Jurgen Klopp to reject subsequent approaches. However, Mignolet’s lack of action on Merseyside has seen his stock fallen – and any move will likely see the keeper having to accept a significant wage decrease. Now, according to Het Laatste Nieuws, and as translated by Sport Witness, both Standard Liege and Club Brugge have held talks with Mignolet’s representative, with both clubs on the lookout for new No 1s this summer. That’s because Standard could be forced to cash in on their standout Mexican keeper Guillermo Ochoa, who has just a year left on his contract, while Brugge custodian Ethan Horvath is attracting interest from England and Germany.
I don't know if it's the answer, but my guess is due to him still being eligible to be on u20 roster, they included him.
Adams isn’t up for debate because he’ll start most matches. I could see the argument for Weah/Sargent, either start on the U-20 WC squad or sit on the bench in the gold cup. But I also saw we don’t want to risk losing Soto/Llanez so best to let them run the show for the U-20s.
