this is the exact problem from the top of the federation all the way down. There’s some belief that we would automatically build on the success of the previous generation. That we will inherently always earn a place with Mexico at the top of the region. That mishaps will happen but, hey, we can just “turn it on” when needed. we need to fucking scrap sometimes, we need to just make ourselves hard to play against. There’s nothing wrong with that. It used to be part of the ethos.
