Sounds like Bayern wants to loan him out next season, so I doubt any of these clubs will be in the convo. But it shows that he’s highly rated.
https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/ne...nd-spain-france-germany-monitoring-situation/ Weston McKennie is expected to leave FC Schalke this summer, and clubs from at least four different European nations -- Spain, England, France and Germany -- have expressed interest in his services and are monitoring his situation, sources tell CBS Sports.
It’s been out for a while but again today reports Steffen won’t be loaned out and will be City #2 and Bravo will leave. I don’t love it but coming off an injury in a weird Summer, I can see where sticking with City and getting the cup matches (Bravo and Steffen will play a similar number of matches this season) isn’t the worst thing either. Get healthy, train with City and work on areas of weakness
He may not get as many games, but you gotta think working with Pep and staff for at least a year could do nothing but good
I think playing in consistent games would be much better for him then what coaching/experience he'll get at City. Obviously not entirely his choice but I hope he continues to push for loan opportunities.
I’m also not sure when he’s supposed to be 100% so I would think that would impact clubs wanting to take him on loan and City wanting to manage his recovery
I hope he goes as far as he can in his club coaching career and then comes back for it when he’s done.
Agree. Understandable too. As a City fan, I’m thrilled to have an American; as a USMNT fan, I wish he were being loaned out.
Did anyone ever think he would have this good of a first season with Chelsea? I didn’t and I feel like I was one of the more optimistic ones.
Is he a top 5 winger in the league right now? Tier 1 Sterling/Mane/Salah Tier 2 Rashford/Silva/Pulisic/Mahrez
I mean statistically, he’s right around there. Probably a tier below the 3 you listed + Mahrez, in a pool with Rashford and Silva.
His per 90 numbers were really good last year w/ Dortmund so I had high hopes. His big thing is staying healthy. If he's on the pitch, he produces at an elite level (.61 npxG + xA / 90 this season). The City and Liverpool guys are on a different level but he's produced as good or better than the rest of the wingers.
Lampard had him planted on the bench for the first month or two iirc. The more I think about that the more I think Lampard did that to take some pressure off him. (Lampard clearly loves the shit out of him in interviews) If he was starting immediately the pressure to produce would have been huge given the price tag. By benching him for a month he got a lot of Chelsea’s fans in Pulisic’s corner by making it seem he was being treated harshly/not being given an opportunity and people just wanted to see him play at all.

the first touch on the sequence right before the assist was probably my favorite moment of the match obscene
Pulisic making VVD look incredulous after a play is something I’m going to need some time to recover from.
My plan for the future of the USMNT is Rose Lavelle competing this move to City, she and Pulisic have 7 boys. That takes care of the fullbacks, midfield and wings. Zack and Julie Ertz will take care of the CBs. We’re always good at GK Just need a ST
You’ve seen my eye for goal on FIFA pro clubs. Just let me get together with an elite female athlete and we’ll have the next R9 on our hands.
