I really wish he’d have buried one of those chances but it was extremely reassuring seeing him get/create as many chances as he did against a team like Bayern. That was always the next step for him. Find ways to get on the ball more and get chances on a regular basis. Do that enough and the goals will come. Also I’m 99% sure one of those two go in if any keeper other than Neuer in the bundesliga is in net
Ratings from FOTMob Miazga started and went 90 in 2-1 loss. 6.1. Erik Palmer-Brown started and went 90 in 1-1 draw. 6.9. Johannsson started and still in at 85’ with a goal 7.4. Haji didn’t play, out a few weeks. With Gregg indicating there may not be much overlap for Nations League and Gold Cup next Summer trying to keep watching a wider group
Just because they’re a couple posts away from each other I wanted to mention. Most people in FCD circles seem to think Reynolds development is a lot further ahead of Cannons at the same age.
Dumb eye test but he looks more dangerous than Cannon ever did already. More athletic and better at crossing.
out of curiosity, what about him makes him really good at pens? Like the SJ players looked petrified and just kicked it right at him more or less, but is the dude just a PK saving machine all the time?
Imagine the heads that would explode in a soccer crazy country if we subbed on our third choice keeper and he just obliterated the first three penalties and we won a WC quarter 3-0 on pens. God willing, it’s England.
In 2014 against Costa Rica, Holland subbed on Tim Krul at 120+1 and he saved 2 of the 5 CR pens to send Holland to the semis
Oh I remember. I’m talking about going 3-3 on the first three and all the various uses of the word cunt that would be deployed in pubs around England as Greggggggg holds his dick in his left hand while he shakes Southgates hand with his right on global TV.
dest just had a lovely run in the box but the other Barca player blundered on his centering pass. should've been an assist.
guy I hate on the Golazo show's making a really big deal out of two Americans on the pitch for Barca at the same time I'll allow it
A fun fact I learned after figuring out who the fuck Robbie Russell is - 25% of Jonathan Spector’s appearances for United (2 of 8) came in the CL
This is what Bayern does. Ease CBs into the lineup at fullback. Nothing to sweat. also he’s starting for Bayern in CL he is now a starter forever for me
Oh I know Bayern does weird shit. He’s played RB for them, I just didn’t even know he could play on the left
