Pretty good. There's been some highfalutin praise of him in the press but I'm glad he got his shot; I think he's proved capable. Against Rotherham he was instrumental to one goal and contributed well in general.
Still too much dumbfounded lethargy in the final 3rd. I don't know how anybody watches this core group without constantly screaming at them to move (when they are in possession that is).
Seems like a really good place for a young player to develop. Cool he's doing so well thus far. Apparently he was taken off early in the loss and rangers fans were pissed.

My buddy went to the meet and greet and practice yesterday. Here were his thoughts: He said Bruce was a dick and no one is shocked. He was paranoid about tactics getting out as security was very tight. They had big blankets covering all entrances into the stadium and no pics were allowed. He said Bruce said they dominated the Serbia game but didn't finish so they practiced finishing for 2 hours yesterday. We will likely be in a 4-4-2 as that's the formation they were working on most of practice. Bruce said they get beat too much in the middle so he's going to play narrow at the back and look to counter. No shocker there. He was adamant about that not happening moving forward. My buddy said Nagbe was the best on the ball and quickest by far. He was always defended with space and was the most impressive throughout the day. Beasley got hit in the head with a ball during training while he was behind goal and fell down. He said the crowd started yelling "Help! I've fallen and can't get up!" My buddy was impressed with Jozy's size and upper body strength. He did well receiving and turning, flicking, or distributing. My buddy said that Bruce is not hands on much at practice. He just paces and observes. The two older guys from his staff run the practices and drills and according to my buddy are impressive. Bruce didn't take to the Q&A session well. A lot of questions were asked about drawing to the Serbia C team. He said that yeah that's why we practiced finishing for 2 hours today. He said Bedoya looked good on the left side and Zusi had a good practice at RB. My buddy ate lunch with Brian Ching who also apparently is a dick. My buddy has no idea what he does. The match tomorrow will he on turf, but it's pretty new (installed last year I think) and it's top quality stuff. The USWNT played on it last year in a toad strangler and it held up and drained pretty well. There is a block party on Chestnut Street before the game put on by Chattanooga FC foundation or something like that. It'll be a good time if you get there early. Once again if you're attending, Chattanooga Brewing Company and Southside Social are great places to go pre and post game. They're right across from the stadium. You can take an Uber anywhere else. Would recommend dinner at Stir at the Choo-Choo, Alleia's if you're into authentic Italian ($$$), Feed Co or Clyde's if you want good atmosphere, or the Terminal Brewhouse or Urban Stack for burgers. All of those recs are on Southside in the general vicinity of the stadium.
all I read leading up to the Serbia game was that Arena wanted to establish consistency and then he changes the formation after one match.
I was surprised to see 4-3-3 from Bruce vs Serbia. He's been a majority 4-4-2 guy throughout his career.
yea I expected 4-4-2 as well. and I think that's our best option going forward. not sure what the reason was for the 4-3-3.
