It hasn’t been pretty, but it’s still a good step that this group of players with essentially zero time together made the final. I think we’ve found some real contributors for the WC team.

Need to figure out the back line and goal keeper, but I’m encouraged compared to the vibes immediately before the Gold Cup.

yea there is zero depth anywhere but the first choice team is pretty clear to me.

 

Cryogenically freeze Ream’s legs then thaw them out when camp opens next year so they don’t age anymore.

I like Tillman at CAM, but I can’t lie that the thought of Pulisic and Luna together is pretty damned interesting. The link up play between those two (and Weah for that matter) could be pure filth.

 

All of them can be out there at the same time imo.

 

I do think Tillman and Luna work hard enough to be out there with Puli and another forward player who aren’t tracking back as much. It would require a rethink of MMA because only two can play in that scenario.

Poch has yet to prove he can take this team to a different level, but I think relative to an American coach he is more likely to embrace a more mercurial player that he thinks can “provide the difference” as Euros and South Americans like to say.
