Goodson broke a toe, so it's doubtful he'll be called in for the friendlies. Also apparently, CONCACAF is going to tweek the proposed WCQ.
- 50,000 tix have been sold so far for the Argentina friendly and 15,000 for Paraguay - Reports out that Tim Ream and David Yelldell have been called in for the friendlies.
Grant Wahl Funny thing: FIFA's denial of 4 World Cup spots to CONCACAF appears to have saved the USA-Mexico rivalry.
Roster for the two friendlies will be announced today. The U-20 WCQ roster also could be announced today.

Actually thought Agudelo would be with the U-20's, but it'll be awesome to see him integrated with the "A" team now.
The U.S. vs Paraguay and U.S. U-20's games are on at the exact same time on Tuesday 3/29. Will have the USMNT game on the tv and the U-20 game on espn3.com The Paraguay friendly is where I'm guessing we'll see more of Agudelo, Mix, Chandler, etc.
need to watch the senior game live and chatzy then watch the u-20 on espn 3 after and chatzy some more win win
Good time to get Chandler provisionally cap tied, and he is playing at a higher level than Lichaj currently. He should also be comfortable around Jones and Yelldell and can exchange stories how their moms love the brothas. We should be set at RB the next 10+ years with these two, and I'm sure some equally or even more talented RB's will also emerge.
Boston Globe reporting that a U.S. vs. Spain friendly in early June at Gillette Stadium is in the works.
Holden, Cherundolo, and Whitbread withdraw from the upcoming friendlies due to injuries. Lichaj has been called in for Dolo.
ran across this again and figured i'd make the rest of the SB(minus Bankz) happy The World's Reaction to Landon Donovan's Game Winning Goal
Just dreaming tonight of a Forward group of: Agudelo, Bunbury, Altidore, and Davies for the Gold Cup. Not to mention Mwanga, Salgado, Wood, and Jack Mac coming up.
definitely happy with that group if Altidore can get more playing time and Davies & Bunbury heal up well.
i would love to see tosh take on this video...from the guy getting a great shot of the girl's ass at the 1:04 mark to the random people who seem pissed off because they bet against the US making the next round to why the hell is that one woman wearing only a bra in the middle of NYC at the 4:04 mark just a great video
The guy has some valid points, but is also full of shit on others. I think he fails to realize how hard it is to play away games in Central America during the qualifiers. We should stay as separate confederations, but should move the Gold Cup so we could also compete in Copa America with full strength.
Another good plan is to stop hiring JV level coaches when guys like Klinnsman and Biesla have interest in the job.
I don't think he meant to say the games were easy. I think his point was the games are hard but not worth it because they don't help the US get better and they don't prepare them for the type of games they will play in the World Cup.
He mentioned that those were tough enviroments to play-in, but his point was playing a bad team that tried to beat you with a combination of bad soccer, poor pitch conditions and insane fans doesn't make the US any better in the long run.
