Amy turning into Kellyanne Conway I think Egan is like the male version of Hope Hicks after this last episode. It is awesome.
Amy's face when Jonah goes all Jonah in the meeting with Kimmie McWelcome to McLintock.. Talk "I look so Black they're going to start calling me articulate" "Thanks, see you in church on Sunday" Tentrement "That's Erick Bill Erickson"
Another great moment, Teddy saying he is a registered sex offender but can't stand for Jonah calling teachers terrorists
I'm not a huge comedy fan, but this show is absolutely fantastic. Straight fire through this whole series.
Great series they put on. Don't know how I feel about this episode. The tag at the end was probably a lame idea but some really funny lines in this one.
"you would've hated the flowers" got me laughing and actually emotional, that was such a perfect line

I'm really going to miss this series. It will certainly make great rewatch material in the next few years.
Just watched and thought it was perfect. I think they probably danced with the idea of ending it as soon as Selina became POTUS, but I like the flash forward better. Having Tom James front row as spitefulness from beyond the grave, Catherine celebrating, Richard T (John) Splett as president, old biker/hippie Ken, real estate agent Dan with a fetus of a wife, Jonah not being invited, Bill Ericsson and Amy somehow winding up together, and Furlong taking care of a decrepit Will were all perfect sendoffs. Gary was icing on the cake. And I liked the Tom Hanks bit as a slight to Selina. Mike’s meteoric rise to CBS Nightly News anchor was great too (must be the toupee) even though he’s still missing his cues.
And in the very first episode when Selina says “hoisted by his own retard,” Mike pitches what if Tom Hanks died as idea for how things could be worse. Brilliant.
While ten episodes would have been nice. I think they wrapped things up perfectly in seven. I'm highly curious where we go from here as far as HBO comedies go. I know people love Barry (I still need to finish season one) and Curb is returning in 2020.
Curb, Seinfeld, Veep, Always Sunny and The Office. My top five comedies. Not sure how I'd rank them. Parks would be six.
I maybe in the minority but I used to like the show she had after Seinfeld new adventures of old Christine
“Trust me — he will never see you as anything other than the TGI Friday’s hostess on Proactiv who lets him bend you over his desk while you close your eyes to avoid coming face to face with that framed photo of his family’s trip to Aspen while he drowns your Little Mermaid back tat in a pool of jizz and admires his own reflection.” Amazing show. My favorite comedy of all time. Gary being the fall guy actually bummed me out a little.
One of my favorite comedies of all time, but the last season didn’t really do it for me. Hard to complain though every year leading up had been fantastic.
I suppose it was a mostly "fitting" finale, but to me it was significantly less funny than the rest of the season, though that may be because I'm fatigued from the obvious real world parallels that are at this point more nauseating than anything else. In any case, so long Veep.
