After the gamblers CRUSHED them again yesterday with CBB Totals, they are only using "Nationally Televised" games for Totals on CBB . Its absolutely a joke. It will be interesting to see how this plays out the entire year.

Yeah, BM posted like 6 or 7 at 2, those lines were insane in a matter of seconds it seemed. I posted the Iowa under, submitted and the line move 4 damn pts. Crazy shit. Do you think they will post more as the night goes on?

You would think with all their money they would just hire one of these stud handicappers to set the lines properly for them to begin with rather than pissing off gamblers everywhere.

I ended up getting the Iowa under 9pts lower then open and it still hit. :dealwithit:

TCU/ASU couldn't have gone better. I think it could have gone to OT and still possibly hit.

I am hearing the same thing again today on another board. This has been said very often in the past couple weeks, but they have still had some lines out. So we will have to wait and see what happens.

"No sense wasting your time capping these totals. I just called the basketball oddsmaker at Chris and spoke briefly about the on the subject of CBB totals. As you already know it is just not profitable for them to post these but the impression that I got from the guy that it was the workload in making these numbers just took a a hell of a lot of time and was a pain in the ass. Unless some other major sportsbook steps up to the plate we will not see a full board of totals until tournament time. Chris will only be dealing totals on the televised games for the immediate future. "

That is a quote from another forum on the subject. However a bout 3 or 4 other guys on there dispute that claim though. We really need to wait and see for next week. With the 24 hours of basketball it has kinda thrown things all out of wack, so we shall see. The books need to just :dealwithit: and let us win some $$.

The amount of money specficly "public" money bet on these totals is not worth it for the books right now. The only people betting these totals are sharps or people following. The average joe is not betting these games much less the totals, which tends to be about 10% of what is bet on the side (at least for football). Once football ends the books will need action on these games, but right now there is no public demand for these totals.
