For those who have bet sports in Vegas I'm looking for some information in terms of how comp points are awarded for Sportsbook play. I feel like I bet a decent amount at the sportsbook on my last trip and don't feel like my comp balance was effected very much.

Are there places that treat you better than others. I'll probably be at MGM, Venetian, and Harrah's primarily on my next trip.

The book is the worst place to get comps in the entire casino in my experience. I know that on my last trip there, over four days, I laid probably $10,000 in total bets and it did less for me than putting $100 in a video poker machines.

That was at MGM, which is where I made all of my bets during the trip. I did get pretty much unlimited drink tickets, but as far as my player's card comps were concerned, it had no effect.

I'm not sure there's any casino out there that really comps much for sportsbook play, unless you're one of the big boys ($10k+ per game).

Harrah's properties are known to be better with comps for machine players, while MGM properties treat their table games players the best. $100/hand at the MGM in blackjack has earned me free nights any time I want to come.

My next trip is Feb. 7th and I got four nights comped at the Venetian because of my one fight of blackjack play there. I was betting pretty big (at least for me), so that probably helped. I've never laid a bet at their book, so I can't comment on comps there. Will be able to in a month, though.

I played a poker tournament at the Venetian on my last trip. I think I played 1 slot machine for 5 minutes during a break and they are comping me for 3 nights on my trip. I think they might just try to get you back.

I never have any problem getting free rooms. I'm staying 10 nights from 1/30 - 2/9 all free between MGM, Venetian, and Harrah's.

I was just curious because it felt like my play wasn't recognized last time in Vegas but I guess the sportbook play just gets shit on similar to the lack of comps you get for playing poker.

I'm pretty excited to go anyway. Will be my first time in town for the Super Bowl. :woot:

I too will be in for the Super Bowl (then the next 5 days). I think the Venetian is giving out rooms like crazy, and I'll definitely take their free $700 if they don't want it.

Yeah, sportsbook players get no love, except at the Hilton, where drinks are still free. I have like $50 worth of food comps on my MGM card from the poker room that I need to cash in. Emeril's. :smug:

I used to stay at different hotels but not it is almost always MGM. Emeril's is definitely my favorite place. As far as comps for sports betting, don't expect much love. I do my betting but to get the comps, I will go to the Pai Gow table where you can bet pretty heavy and not win or lose much either way. It is the perfect table to rack up the comps.

10 nights?!?!? Jesus Aero are you planning on coming back in a casket? I've been twice and stayed 3 nights both times and it felt like a month. I am going again in march, what is the best way to get a cheap rate without having any comp points or anything? Is there a certain site that has the best deals for Vegas? Thanks

For me I feel like if I'm going to go to the trouble of getting on a plane and all that I wanna make it last. I agree 10 days is a little much. 7 would probably be better but since I had a total of 10 comp nights available to me I decided to do it.

When was the last time you were in Vegas? What casino comp cards do you have. Even if it's been awhile you might have comps available to you somewhere if you have played in the past.

    Go to Fatwallet.com.

Go to their forums and the "travel deals" section. Find the Vegas super thread. Find deals for every hotel.

    It's easssy.

Most Poker comps come in the way of Freerolls
