If you're into poker I'd say the Venetian is the best room in town. A lot of people think the Bellagio is the best place to go but really I would avoid it. The games are very tough there and the room isn't all that impressive. MGM Grand is good on weekends because it's by far the most touristy and thus the games can be pretty soft if you get the right table. As far as the casinos it's really the same everywhere unless you are looking for particularly low limits. Then you likely have to try some of the shittier places if $5 blackjack and shit like that is what you are looking for.
Get a bucket of quarters and get drunk playing the mechanical horse racing game at the MGM. I made 100 bucks playing it last time. Good times.
Thanks. I've been there once 4 years ago but only for 2 days. I had fun playing slots (Wheel...Of...Fortune!), Black Jack and Roulette but I want to play more Poker this time and being there for 4 days this time should let me do that. I'm taking 1k as a budget and would like to have 1/2 of that to play with Sat. and Sun. at the sportsbook. I have never played those other table games, are any of them good? easy? Thanks again
