I loved that finale Danny McBride and Jody Hill should be able to do these small run series whenever they want for HBO
Said in their AV Club interview they are working on one now. Also said he is writing a movie with the psycho teacher lady and hoping someone will give them money to make it.
Shea Whigham, he's great in the show and was also really good on Boardwalk Empire. He also randomly popped up in Narcos S3 recently.
Also, the scene with Russel shitting on that store manager trying to take a smoke break at his new job was pure gold
Legit laughed out loud when Gamby plowed into Abbott's car. Also, really happy to see Janowski at the end.
I hope Goggins and McBride like each other, I'd watch almost anything with that pairing at this point.
Goggins and McBride are the real MVPs you sonofabitch. McBride gets the best scenes but I agree w/o Goggins he's nothing. Lee Russell playing the most "closeted" homosexual we've seen the show isn't as good. She was still great btw imo.
just did a rewatch and it really is fantastic television laughed out loud at this line again last night. one of the funniest parts about it was ray just casually whittling something and immediately saying "jesus christ" without even looking up ray being the nicest guy on earth is probably my favorite bit in the show
