In 1994 my dad and I went to a VU UTenn game where the Viles beat us 65-0. They used to be a truly great program. And as the CFB and SEC landscape has changed going back to around 2003 or so, they've been an interesting case study to follow. this is where I’m at. I disagree that teams can’t hire freeze if they want to but you can’t fire your coach with cause for major violations and then hire freeze. Maybe you have Steele coach a year or 2 and then go freeze if he still hasn’t gotten an SEC job but you can’t bring him in with current violations.
