You are absolutely correct. How could he have gotten that money? That lot could be worth anywhere from 20k to 20 million. Either way, I have not yet seen this episode, but dirt is right in the range her.
I just rewatched the episode and you’re right, which makes even less sense. I have no idea why they’re out there now. The side of the car says Eastview, too. Does Hayward know what he’s dealing with when he sends Monica to Westview, or is that just coincidental? There’s a clear tension between them and if his intention is getting Vision back, he definitely wouldn’t have wanted her involved. The money thing was just a joke, guys. He definitely stole the money from Stark’s account and when Pepper found out about it(because you know she’s the type to monitor every penny), she thought it was cute, and Tony never found out.
Now hear me out, just because that rabbit ate the cicada, doesn't mean that cicada can't still be Mephisto...
There’s more to Hayward too. What if he’s mephisto. Or the true big bad. Or he’s the start to humans truly not trusting heroes on a military level. Yes the accords but this could be the first aggressive attack towards them.
Of all the things people wonder about when it comes to super heroes being able to pay for stuff, "how did Vision and Wanda acquire a random plot of land in a small New Jersey town" seems like a weird one to get caught up on.
Everyone just brushed past in Age of Ultron when Cap told Falcon he can't even afford a place in Brooklyn. You're telling me the United States government just cheaped out and decided not to give Cap his 66 years of back pay? President Ellis would never live down the public shaming, Cap was due over $4 mil in back pay.
I can 100% believe the US government would do this, yes. "Well technically Captain you we're AWOL that time so honestly you're lucky we're not court marshaling you"
With the cops, remember the exit ramp sign and the sign of the town read Westview even though they were outside the hex. Wu stated “it’s not a missing persons case, it’s a missing town”
Why didn’t Vision invest the maximum payment percentage SHIELD would match into his 401k while he was still alive???!??
Ep 5...Heyward’s voice says when Monica wakes up “Did you try to fight it?” “It was like a weight pulling me down, such grief and sadness”
Rewatching the series. Darcy was such a good choice for narrating what’s going on inside wanda’s show.
Rambeau insists on helping Wanda because she “knows what’s she’s going through - what she’s feeling”...just weeks after waking up to find that her recovering mom died while she was snapped.
Yes, she taught Wanda how to use real magic when she originally could only alter probabilities. That’s what Agatha’s line “just a simple probability hex” meant when Wanda made the bomb not explode. She also was the nanny to Frank Richards and mentored him as well. That’s why it’s kind of weird that so far she seems like a bad guy. She’s Photon/Spectrum, she basically can absorb, manipulate, and turn into any type of energy. That’s why when she looked at the power lines she could see the radiation off of them.
I’m aware of the character but not enough of her origin story...is the use of her mom’s call sign as her superhero name specific to MCU? Feel like yes.
Damn this show is so good. So why are some people referring to the the reanimated version of vision as ultron? Wasn’t that just visions body pit back together and brought back to life via wanda’s powers magic? Obviously he won’t remember anything. Or was that not visions body? Also can the Wanda created version of vision survive outside the hex? Certainly didn’t look like he could a couple episodes ago. What about the kids? Are they real? So many questions still.
I think the theory is that Vision still had Ultron’s programming in him and now that he’s been re-booted that programming might take over his body. I would like it better if it’s just an emotionless Jarvis but Ultron’s programming escaped into SWORD’s computers from the boot up. (A post credits scene for the series could be a random SWORD computer that goes blank then the words Ultron Initiative 2.0 appear on the screen) Who knows about the twins, I was for sure they’d end up being Mephisto soul babies but kind of hard to squeeze that into one episode with everything else going on.
The Ultron reference is because this is similar to one of many comic stories that Ultron gets brought back. My gut is that hex-created entities can’t leave without “merging” with an outside entity. Super curious to see how they handle the twins this way or if the hex just being destroyed will free them into the world.
To your last point, the conclusion of this series doesn’t have to wrap everything up too nicely. Could leave a lot of open questions to Strange 2.
Feels like there’s a lot to tie up in the finale next Friday and I love it. I know there will be some unanswered questions for movies and other shows, but u cannot wait for next Friday
Agatha calls her control of Pietro a “possession”. Super curious how he got pulled from the multiverse for her to possess.
So do we think Wanda manifested vibranium when she created him? That would make it seem more likely the kids are real as well.
Interesting. Because Monica's clothes looked like cloths for Wanda's show, but they remained Kevlar. So I was under the impression Wanda just changes the appearance not the actual element.
This is right but since she started from nothing for vision, it’s unclear how it happened at this point
Agatha calls SW “a being capable of spontaneous creation,” so I’m guessing that she created the vibranium.
