A Crna in the lockerroom this morning had on a Hamilton intra-matic chrono. Didn’t want to talk watches which I thought was strange.

 

They’re absolutely outstanding on the wrist too. Definitely in contention for my next watch.

Maybe I'm just risk averse, but I'd feel better about dealing with the markup of a dealer for anything over a couple grand

I liken it to Uber or AirBnB where you have a crowd-sourced community sorting safety mechanism.

There’s an incentive structure for sellers to have a large positive transaction history. I wouldn’t buy anything over like $500 with anyone showing less than like 25 transactions.

 

I like this. Always liked the Pogue colors but they were 50 years old and beat up.

 

It's weird because my dream watch has the date between the 4 and the 5, but I still don't like when watches have dates between 4 and the 5 lol

Been thinking about this watch since I saw it pop up on WatchExchange. Could’ve pulled the trigger, but I try not to be highly impulsive (lol) and even though it’s not a bank breaker, still very much a luxury purchase.
