Breitling has done a good job marketing & updating their line recently. They have a cult following (mostly from people in the NE USA), but I'll never own one.
If they were closer to Tudor price, I could see myself buying that salmon dial or even the pistachio dial one. But I think retail is like $13k, so probably $10k after a discount, but still not paying that for that watch. I do think it looks great though.
Just another day in green scrubs and a g-shock. I’m. Not even posting another pic because time is a flat circle.
10 years ago or so my FIL traded in a Daytona and bought a IWC Big Pilot, has been kicking himself over it ever since. Just sent me a text Spoiler
Love it. Just remembering Jorts complaining about his friend buying the same Milgauss as him, now you’ve got the Mayer G Shock
Oh he accidentally bought 2 of the gshock. I traded him a pair of shoes for it lol. I didn't just jack the idea from him.
The wife accidentally bought 2 Mayer G-Shocks. I swapped one with him for a pair of sneakers (easier than flipping on ShockX). G-Shock I wear around the house, isn't the same as a guy I work with getting an identical Rolex...
If this is real, just take the watch. Don’t broadcast it to Reddit where people will shit all over you for doing this.
I’m on the side of you don’t take the watch. My point was, what did that guy expect posting this? Not to be insulted? I get it was under the guise of selling it but then change the story a bit or something.
Want to grab a black face diver, not going for a BB58 because I can’t give up my blue BB58 (can’t bring myself to having a second.) I’ve narrowed it to sellita movements by Oris: Oris Diver 65 or Oris Aquis
Just picked up the Oris Aquis Staghorn Restoration Limited Edition. Got it used but in really good shape and for a good price. Feels great on the wrist. Spoiler: Staghorn
Price, and I want stainless over titanium. Holding off on big cash outlays for watches until the next Rolex call. I'm actually leaning more toward the Diver 65, I like the heritage lines, and it's not one you see often. I tried on my buddy's Aquis yesterday, and it wears really nicely. Either is right around $1,000 pre-owned, can't really go wrong.
I would look at Baltic. About half the price of the used Oris. https://baltic-watches.com/en/collections/aquascaphe too bad they’re a shitty micro brand that only has derivative designs. /Jorts
