He was referencing this: https://thetruthaboutwatches.com/20...t scandal, and thus Panerai's potential profit.
A lot of Panerai watches are ugly. I really like the Panerai Due. This one specifically. https://www.panerai.com/us/en/collections/watch-collection/luminor-due/pam01124-luminor-due.html
i find most panerai to be ugly but the good looking ones are both striking and feel pretty unique 337 1042 512
At first I really didn’t like the look of Panerai, but the more I seen them, and after trying one on I just love them. Also discovered that the watch that pierce brosnan wears in after the sunset where the photo next to my name is taken from wore one.
I inherited a couple of my father-in-law’s Rolexes, which started me into this hobby. He worked for Pendleton for about 40 years. I got this Instagram ad today: Not really my style of watch, and definitely not his, but it was still a must buy.
Decent sale on straps https://www.crownandbuckle.com/stra...5pc0aT2OEXKsu0NKS9tmm3iKnAUAkd7v4Usz4=.Wwdvze
The case height is the bigger killer. Either way, it’s too chonky for my small wrists. Also, this leather is thick/stiff as fuck… it’s like a dog collar.
definitely sits pretty high on your wrist, still looks great from the front. They do have some rubber nato straps on the sight, if your nephew finds the strap a little uncomfortable.
He’s going to fly an Osprey. So, I engraved his flight school graduation date on the rotor. Get it? Because he’s going to fly planes.
It’s curious, right? I upgraded him to the “Laco 31,” which is just a Miyota 8315 with date function. I wanted it for the 60hr power reserve. I’m sure the case is the same for their base Miyota 82S0.
Maybe it's just the seller, they have a ton right around what I'm looking at. Another example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266395188819? Just started doing some research on Omega Railmaster vs. Aqua Terra vs. De Ville vs. Literally Anything else. Cursory search in the thread says they're all about the same?
thats absolutely stunning man congrats. When I finally get around to making another serious purchase the santos is definitely in my top 3(that and pelagos or panerai luminor marina).
cartier is definitely a really great brand in that it feels and looks high-end but is also accessible. no dealer games necessary and you can actually afford most of their models. wear the santos in good health. i'll be getting one eventually.
Went to swatch/blancpan while I was in Vegas. they look better in person but still don't think I'd want one.
Two-liner with box and papers for under $9k. Love it. https://reddit.com/r/Watchexchange/s/wO6dZOcSB8
I need opinions. I always liked these Omegas but I’m not a sailing person. Is the Americas Cup branding too bad? A local shop has one and will do $1900 out the door which looks like a great price compared to asking prices on Chrono24. Has papers but no box.
I’m of the opinion that you should spend money on the watch you want, not save money on a watch you don’t.
I always wanted one of the sword hand Seamasters and i like the white gold. Just don’t know how I feel about the Americas Cup on it.
Get it. Tell people you were on the 2007 team. Who the fuck would be able to call you out? Maybe 20 people in the world ?
Well…..someone please point me to the TMB official sailing thread. Talked him down a little more so I’m happy.
jomashop got some omega models discounted below secondary market right now if people in the hunt seems like watch market going to get real soft over the next year
