Nah was a Hamilton. Was nervous buying it tbh because the dial was weird in photos but gorgeous in person
https://www.frettclockworks.com/sho...gns0YCY_Qo6ybUMpiQ_aem_e5veRPFDSE1RJsCVfP16xA That one. Dial looks extremely different in person. Showed it to my brother the other day at dinner and he's now in a hole trying to figure out what the markings mean. Nobody knows!
How big does it wear? I daily wear a 44mm that's 52mm lug to lug, which lines up exactly to what these are, I think.
hes posted his wrist size as yes converted pocket watches going to run large, he's done some conversions that are like 54mm fully cartoonish
was handed a like 100yo pocket watch when I was at my in laws because I was wearing this one. still can't figure out wtf it is, bought in Lancaster PA in the 30's but has a "Celtic" dial that might be a local company really need to get them to open the back
Speaking of big watches… haven’t worn this bad boy in years but got it after a promotion in my 20s. Just your average 53mm.

My wife didn’t get me a watch for Christmas but told me I had permission to go buy the coffee Santos.
My wife went to buy one. All they had was the large, but she said it was incredible to see in person.
I’m definitely getting the medium. I just saw something on Reddit saying the large came with both bands. Hadn’t seen if that was the same for the medium.
Been having trouble finding the medium at an AD. May just order from Cartier but going to make calls tomorrow so I can have build spend history somewhere.
yeah Cartier exploded in popularity even more this year so stock seems bad on most desirable models/colors
I added two fun watches: a digital Casio and a Seiko field GMT for work. I’ll post pics tomorrow, long day of hosting from brunch through dinner. I’m exhausted.
