I’ll pull it up from my desktop later.
Pretty certain that page just gave my phone butt AIDS.
Looks good with my $45 amazon wedding ring. Really like the 40mm size and flatter face compared to my 42mm seiko diver.

For forums I check out the Omega Forums. Reddit watchexchange is good too.
It’s almost as beautiful as you, congrats... on her... and it.
I've got a Seamaster Professional that I bought 8 years ago. It's great and transitions from jeans and a T-Shirt all the way to a suit or even black tie. Seems to be in your price range as well. Here is a link.
I thought we were going for sub $1k.
You cheatin’ muhfuckas
Congrats! Looks great!
WatchRecon.com aggregates all for sale items on watch forums.
Still have to “buy the seller” but it makes it more convenient if you’re looking for something specific.
An aggragating app. It’s beautiful.
Has anyone ever bought a watch on StockX before?
I think I'm buying a Submariner next month.
Get yourself a Russian space watch. I think these diver/pilot watches are cool and the company has a unique history.
Not sure if you can wear a 42, it’s a bigger watch.
I have traded away some beautiful watches because they were uncomfortable as shit on the wrist. Will always be my #1 for a watch that is going to get a lot of wear time.
My daily wearer, a BLNR I can barely tell is on at times.
I read that as boner.
I had looked at those before. They are pretty cool. Look kinda like the Sinn. That marathon diver posted earlier is sweet as well.
anyone have experience with Grand Seiko's? I've been in the market for a $3-5k watch and have been eyeing a couple of their models. I imagine the cost of ownership is much less than something like a Speedmaster or even Datejust because it's more of a quartz-like movement?
If I’m spending 3-5k on a watch I’m not even looking at Seiko. It’s not like a car, cost of ownership / watch maintenance isn’t something imo that factors in.
Any opinions on a Sea Dweller vs. Submariner?
Joma has a really good deal on a Sea Dweller.
I am curious of this as well. I looked at the Sea Dweller before I ultimately decided on the Deep Sea.
Sea dweller is much thicker. Approximately 40%. Unfortunately most authorized dealers won’t have them in the case for you to try on.
Agreed with Tiger Tiger Woods Y'all
But a Datejust. If you want a Seiko, get a King Seiko for $500 for your formal occasions or a cool $200 automatic diver.
But hell man, get the known commodity at that price point.
If you want a Seiko spend $500-$1,000. Great value in low to mid level. Spend $5,000 on a GS people will assume you have a great low to mid level watch.
Speaking of versatile divers, my wait for the Black Bay 58 is over... mine arrived
Well, it was mine if I wanted it. I’d been on a waiting list for about 6 months... Beautiful watch & worth all the hype it’s received in the last year, but I passed. Just didn’t love it.
It depends on what you're buying it for. If you're buying for name recognition and to impress people, go with a Speedmaster or used Datejust. But if you want something with incredible finishing and a super accurate movement, a Grand Seiko is tough to beat. True watch people routinely rank them above comparable Rolexes, Omegas, etc. Their Hi-Beat and Spring Drive movements are beautiful and the level of finishing is second-to-none. I love the Spring Drive with the smooth sweep second hand.
Too small? Just read the worn and wound review and it looks great.
Na, it was just about the perfect size & l love the vintage look. Unlike the normal BB, you could wear it under a dress shirt/suit.
Wife convinced me to pass, in favor of a Speedy or Seamaster 300 master co-axial
Makes sense. I flip back and forth on which of those two I want. The Tudor does look great in picture though.
I can't decide either... She knows me well enough to know that I'd still end up with the Speedy/300, if I got the BB58.
The BB is really sexy, almost bought it. I went with the SM300, but it was really close.
Another great looking watch, at a nice price is the Oris Big Crown - https://www.oris.ch/en/collection/oris-big-crown
This is my baby.
Good woman, she likes the 300 co-axial too.
I’ve created a monster... she loves the Railmaster Trilogy as well.
Am I alone here with my general Nomos appreciation & love of their Tangente neomatik update 41? Just love the simplicity & the date ring is sexy af
I actually got this from my wife for wedding day present. I thought that was the dumbest shit ever but went along, I now respect and admire this time honored tradition.
Reminds me of this Glycine that I'd like to pick up. At 48mm, it is a chonker. Give me those 47-49mm watches, though. Love 'em.
I don't get any Bauhaus vibe, or similarity, from this military/pilot watch
It's still a pale, simple dial with Arabic numerals and 9-eater (instead of the 6-eater). Bauhaus and pilot watches share similarities for a reason.
Clunky & busy as fuck does not a Bauhaus make. That watch is pretty much the anti-Nomos
I've convinced myself to buy a more expensive watch than I was planning on. I really like the two-tone.
Welcome to team GMT.
A beautiful piece. Wear it in good health.
Which model do you have?
Selling some nice watches at an online auction tonight in Cockeysville, Maryland. Just wanted to pass along to the thread...
do you know if these items have reserves?
Don’t believe they do.
That Seamaster will easily sell for $1500 on some of the forums - maybe even $2000 in good condition and with box.
