I’m not sure Rorschach’s views will be accepted very well, especially as an antihero. As a villain, it could play easier.

I just don’t see how they win this with how nuanced a character he is. There’s misconceptions all over about Rorschach

 

oh to be sure, this isn’t gonna be some salvation story, this should be a preamble to how truly fucked up Rorschach Is.

Rewatching now. This show is amazing.

I was today years old when I found out Trent Reznor produced the music for the series. Every time Sister Night's song came on I always thought "this sounds like NIN."

 

Started a rewatch and forgot just how fucking good this series is.

 

The binge rewatch is even better than the first viewing.

 

Think this will be my third. I did a rewatch like right after it ended so probably counts as a second since it’s been so long

 

Veidt is such a great character in the original and this.

This is the sequel to the graphic novel. I did like the movie though. I’ve watched it multiple times because I like everything except the end and thought they did a great job casting.

 

I was specifically referring to Veidt.

But I agree about the movie. I think it's solid.

 

Movie BLOWS

 

I thought the movie was pretty good. Really liked the original and motion comic. If you haven't done one of those latter two, I'd highly recommend it. The tie ins with the show were remarkable

 

opening credits were the best part of the movie

 

Bob Dylan was a great choice.

 

Just finished my rewatch of this. God damn this show is a masterpiece.

Im kinda drunk so I'm just gonna ramble. Episode 8 with Angela/Jon at the bar is some of the best non linear story telling Ive seen.

It's not all bad though. Gave me a chance to rewatch the motion comic first so I can remember all of those easter eggs

 

Movie is great other than the ending being changed from the source material. I think the original ending could have been pulled off. Series was one of my favorite 5 shows ever. Really were creative in incorporating the original’s themes to newer times and characters.
