he came on at lw for reus at 65 min moved to cf 5 min later when schurrle came on for klose it was already 5-0 at that point and everyone was just standing around until kroos with the lord's shot to goal with his lord's volley to make it 6-0 unassisted lol germany concedes in the 92nd minute, no one surprised
Suarez dives and he's the Anti-Christ, Bale dives and all the headlines are about his glorious double.
arsenal fans have been passive aggressively doing it for a while now so it should be sufficient enough
Ecuador beat Chile 3-1, Chile got 2 Argentina/Uruguay tonight. Also looks like no Larissa Riquelme for 2014 :(
If Canada can't beat a Cuban team with no subs at home then there is no hope for this shitty proud soccer nation.
BucsSpartan157, I'm a dual US Belgian citizen (Born in the US, father is a Walloon from Bruxelles) I think Wilmots might be the guy who can lead this team. Tactically I'm still a bit skeptical but from a leadership standpoint he's got the goods. Seems like the players are listening to him. Defense is still too dodgy at this point. Kompany, Vertonghen, Vermaelen are really CBs and Belgium seems to lack pace and talent at the fullback positions.
I'm really looking forward to the belgian state disintegrating just as they finally get some return for Leopold treating Congo as a personal fiefdom.
411, I completely agree with what you said. Saw the game on the computer and the defense is letting way too many balls pass them. Luckily Serbia didn't score. As for Wilmots, he seems to be letting the guys "play". Like you said not the best Tactically manager but as a leader etc, has done a great job. I am sure he will learn from his mistakes. I said awhile back in a Facebook message that the other two reasons why the Rode Duivels( sorry I am Flemish) would not qualify for the World Cup in 2014 is major chemistry issues and poor coaching. They have the talent so it just a matter of proper coaching etc. So far it looks good. As for the chemistry issues, way too many captains on the team and the players seem to really enjoy playing with each other. Plus you would know if players would be cancers or whatnot and you haven't heard of anyone. There is a very good chance I will be in Brazil assuming both Rode Duivels and the American team make the World Cup. Brother is a diplomat for the US and is in Sao Paulo for the next 3 years( started in May 2012). I would imagine I would have a free place there( they do have friends who also love voetbal but hopefully family wins out). I also have a friend( was exchange student and lived with the family) who lives in Manaus. Regardless, pretty certain I will be going to it. On a bit of a side note, I really believe this World Cup will have the most Americans fans visit it assuming they qualify. Look at the major cities in the US, majority of them have direct flights to Sao Paulo/ Rio etc and those who don't are an easy flight away from that flight. Plus despite the major crimes etc, it is a great place to visit with a bunch of things to do. I am pretty sure the flights to Jo-Burg etc last World Cup was a huge pain in the ass. Most of the flights from the US are 8-10.5 hrs.
BucsSpartans157, Belgium was very lucky that it was 0-0 after the first 30 minutes as it easily could have been 2 or 3-0 Serbia. The problem with former managers Leekens, Vercauteren, Vandereycken was that they put the players in very restrained tactical situations. Belgium's identity was that of a counter attacking team, but with the current make up the talent is in the midfield and wings. Certainly Kompany, Vermaelen, and Vertonghen are talented centerbacks but there is a dearth of talented fullbacks although there is some good young talent that could be ready for 2014 or 2016 Euros. Hazard is the one that worries me the most. He's the most talented but he's been fairly poor when playing for the national side. I'm hoping that De Bruyne emerges as sort of a dominant midfield presence and he Witsel, Dembele, Fellaini so Hazard can stop facing double and triple teams. Benteke has certainly improved and I hoping that if Belgium can qualify for Rio that Lukaku will have matured enough so that Belgium could play both Benteke and Lukaku. Good stuff. I'm not sure I'll make it there but who knows. I'm trying to change careers and I'm hoping to move into voetbal in terms of developing the game here in the US in terms of marketing etc. It's going to be a great time to visit and Rio is a very lively place. I'm sure flying to Sud D'Afrique is not a fun flight.
youre germany even down to scoring bullshit goals now failed promotion :(, but germany and espain games dont start till 245est
fair enough, either way the goal was also brilliant, mainly bullshit but also brilliant. almost the entire team being from the own league is also a german thing right?
disappointment for me with the way people were describing it on twitter. http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideo...-amid-racist-claims-england-u21-v-serbia-u21/
2-0 Rode Duivels!!! Have literally been threatening to score from the 1st minute and finally scored twice late in the match. Should hold off in the last 10 minutes.
