What is the difference if he shoots people with a machine gun or comes up behind another player and pretends to rape him? Tolerance has gone too far when stuff like that is allowed regardless of extenuating circumstances like tonight. The player who did that has serious mental issues and our institution of humanity is becoming more and more insensitive to extreme behavior.
Glad our football team was able to keep us interested long enough to make it to basketball season. Try as I might, my expectations for this season may be as high as they've ever been. Gonna temper it by reminding myself this program has proved anything it ever needed to prove in the regular season. NCAA Tournament is all that matters at this point. I may not be able to watch our first weekend games this year.
My personal (and I think a lot of rational Hoos') take is that we've gotten our hopes up so many times that I won't believe we beat Tech until I see it confirmed in a newspaper on Saturday morning.
yeah I'm looking forward to watching but have 0 expectation of UVa winning I disagree on the basketball regular season though - I think it's going to be fun to see them take out their frustrations on some teams
Oh I agree the regular season is going to be fun. I'm just saying I don't care much whether we go 28-0 or 20-8. All about making the tournament, ideally as a 4 seed or better.

I always liked him and thought he would be a beast but I’ve never seen a player with health issues like him. Not even the same recurring issue, always something different. Hope he makes it okay.
