Sucks only two weeks left. Anxiously awaiting the USC/ND line. If Barkley plays, USC wins straight up. Going to get great value. Also look for Baylor to be over valued after beating Kansas St.
initial leans arkansas +12.5 vs LSU Washington -10.5 @ WSU Vandy -13 @ Wake TTech +2 @ baylor Stanford +1.5 @ UCLA USCe +4 @ Clemson
yea need someone to talk me out of betting large on the irish. please don't give me the "public will do such and such" reason because if you've been basing wagers off that the majority of the year you are getting killed. as have I. I'm done with looking at what the public will do. putting money on lane kiffin is basically setting it on fire
people have been disrespecting the irish all year. it is time to take them seriously. if you look at how crappy this usc football team is, and remind yourself they are without their starting QB....6 is a gift.
Just my thoughts ND defense is not great at keeping yard totals, but they're great at keeping the points down. Their whole defense is based on making teams earn every point with long sustained drives. This will likely be magnified for SC with a back up, first time starter. I understand that SC has play makers on the outside, but I could see it harder for them to make plays downfield with the lack of timing between them and Wittek. SC will get theirs though. ND DL will need to get pretty consistent pressure with 3 and 4 to even more disrupt the timing for the passing game. As far as rushing game, with it likely being McNeil I doubt it will be much of factor as Nd has shut down the run pretty much all year except for 2 runs by Ray Graham. When ND is on offense I'd imagine that they will try to attack the below average play and tackling of the LB with forcing them to cover the TEs across the field and getting all three RBs in space on the edge. Golson is also very good outside the pocket. I'm not sure that ND will be able to run right at the SC defense but will have to set up the run with the short pass game. Also lack of depth on DL will open up running game for Nd later in the game. I also like ND right now, but will try to wait all week before I get down on anything. Don't want emotions to skew it.
Anyone playing the degen game tonight? Akron is baaaaad. Toledo shouldn't have a problem putting up a ton of points tonight. Akron generally bad on both sides of the ball. May get on Toledo TT Ov42.
My book still hasn't released the Uf and ND lines. I'm not sure which side ill be on but I want on one god damn it.
Akron usually keeps games relatively close plus Toledo lost a huge emotional game last week. Akron sucks but I can see them hanging around enough to cover
UF +7.5 for me. hoping it comes out at 7 will buy the half. Also will be on ND. Debating on ML instead of spread though. curious what they set the OU at in UF/FSU. first one to 10 should win
Yeah, nothing is really a gimme. I just mean it looks too good to be true. But, I think y'all have a better chance of scoring via special teams than you do Saban calling off the dogs. The last time that number would have not been hit was in 2008, and I think post-2010 Saban would have scored 50 in that game.
If I lose this bet bc of that dookie 2pt conversion in garbage time im drowning the first baby I see.
This week's card through today: Toledo -17.5 Syracuse -7 Nebraska -13.5 Northern Illinois -20.5 Central Michigan -10.5 WVU/ISU over 68.5 Washington -13.5 Arizona -3
Pitt may be my favorite play of tomorrow (besides Clemson). Line is so trappy. Pitt is 4-6, coming off a loss and is favored over a ranked 9-1 Rutgers team? And the public all over Rutgers.
Wrong team favored: Rutgers +1.5 Texas San Antonio +1.5 Florida +7 (Only once has the system had the wrong team favored by such a difference and that was New Mexico State +8.5 early on. Numbers Have Florida being favored by 5.47 for a difference of 12.47. Difference of 10+ this year is 3-0. Will be my biggest bet of the year in CFB.) Rice +1 South Carolina +3.5
I'm putting a little on the UF +240 Have Stanford -125 Bama 1H -20.5 parlay: UF +10.5 (-140) / ND -3 (-145) moneyline parlay pays 2.5-1 ND, Oregon, Mich St, UGA, Vandy
Rough day yesterday; lucky went heavy on Cuse and NIU. Saturday's Card: Northwestern -19 vs. Illinois (been riding them all year, ain't gonna stop against Illinois) Rutgers +1.5 @ Pitt (like someone else said, they just keep covering, and until they don't I'll be a sucker with the rest of the public) UCF -21 vs. UAB Tulsa -5 @ SMU Miami -6.5 @ Duke Tx Tech +3.5 vs. Baylor Oregon St +9.5 vs. Oregon Florida +7 @ FSU Utah St -37.5 vs. Idaho (like N'Western, they've been good to me all year, ain't gonna stop against Idaho) Vandy -11 @ Wake Oklahoma St +6.5 @ Oklahoma Fresno St -16 vs. Air Force Memphis -4 @ So Miss South Cack +3.5 @ Clemson USC +5.5 vs. ND San Jose St. +4 vs. La Tech
TOs have killed me the past two days. IOwa st. Fumbles going in the endzone in the 4th/ Arkansas fumbled on the lsu 5 to put that game in doubt/ now GT gives a 14pt swing walking into UGAs endzone. So frustrating.
Ohio State -4 Rutgers +1 Florida +7 Michigan/OSU under59 UTSA +1.5 SoCar +4 Ohio State 2H -3 Not a great start.
