You should have a frank discussion with your eye doctor if you think Meghan Klingenberg is hotter than Julie Johnston.
I prefer audiobooks to reading... I also prefer them over music in the gym, driving, and pretty much anything else. Not that I dislike reading, but I've found audiobooks to be much more efficient in that I can do other things (cook, clean, workout, pack, drive) while "reading" whereas with actually reading a book it's the only thing I can do.
Most of John Oliver's appeal comes from speaking loudly with a British accent. He's not actually that funny.
I think climate change is happening but I don't think our carbon emissions are at fault nor can they stop the change.
Agree with that statement but disagree on your first comment. Seeing as it is in the Unpopular Opinion thread I think it is probably in the right spot.
Blowjobs are overrated experiences unless the female in question enjoys 'em rather than just endure 'em.
Phil Steele is a knowledgable college football writer. At least I think that's an unpopular opinion on TMB.
I find it attractive when pussy has just a slight bit of that dirty pussy smell. Very faint. :welpseeyoulater:
Best batman villain was where I was getting, but yes, Nicholson was also very good. Ledger over-acted and it was seriously hard to watch.
Thats how I feel about Carey. His performance as the Riddler is borderline unwatchable because he operates on a "why use 1 line when 12 will do?" basis. The scene with him in the bat cave pretending its a baseball game, complete with sound effects and him yelling "surfs up big kahuna!" when he throws the guy into the ocean are seriously cringeworthy
But you don't feel that way about Ledger? That was really all I was getting at. Ledger wasn't a very good Joker.
are we seriously discussing over acting when it comes to comic book super villains? Carrey is just a shit actor
Eh different strokes I suppose. I found Ledgers performance disturbing and well done. It wasn't campy and going for laughs in my opinion.
You and everyone else on the planet except for GinBuckets. Might be the most unpopular opinion in the thread.
I'm not gonna go so far as to say ledger was shit, but I thought multiple people were better in the movie than he was. Commissioner Gordon, bat man, Harvey and Alfred all were better than joker. An Olsen twin watches you die and all of a sudden you are gods gift to acting
Aside from Batman, those other people were playing pretty standard roles. Not real challenging or that individually interesting. And even Bale's Batman was a well established character by then. It was the third film he did that portrayal. Not much changed from the first two. I agree that people tend to put actors on a pedastal posthumously but I think Ledger's dedication to his method acting technique for that role deserved a lot of the honor and acclaim it received. The dude made a comic book cartoon villian seem plausible and yet still maintained the absurd nature of the character. Things like him personally directing the video of the kidnapped fake Batman and making it so creepy and realistic go a long way in my book.
i only watch the long bits that get posted to youtube, but i thought he was great in the first season. the second? not so much. it's hard to come up with a topic every week that you can talk about for 15-20 minutes and be funny throughout though.
