Whatever Ncaa game(s) had the disciplinary/probation options
Really loved NFL 2K1 on Dreamcast. Randy Moss was tecmo bo-level cheating in that game.
Was going to post this one. Just bombs to Randy all day.
Instead, I liked the NBA Street games, I think 2 was better but it's been a while.
Got 14 year old me GOING.
RBI Baseball was my first sports video game I loved.
That being said, NBA Jam on Sega Genesis was the shit.
Loved creating a guy and starting from the beginning.
How did it take us page 2 to get a THPS?
NHL hitz was great for drinking a lot of beer and playing with friends.
Loved Wayne Gretzky 3D Hockey too
Off Road was fun in the arcade
Goalie turning into a brick wall, flaming shots, fighting. A+ game, Red Wings were unstoppable.
There was a tiger woods game that featured gamebreakers, which was pretty much an automatic hole in one on anything. Loved that shit.
Getting high as fuck and going da bomb every play on nfl blitz vs your buddies was some great times.
Was probably in elementary school when it came out but twisted metal was a game changer at the time.
That’s not a sports game
I'm with you but some call bowlers, gamers, and people who eat hot dogs athletes these days.
I am old
If people who drive cars are athletes then so are gamers. Same shit, just less dangerous.
joey chestnut is the greatest athlete in the history of this country
or at the very least he has the most impressive skill
Twisted Edge >
it's a shame that it hasn't become more popular as retro gaming has become massive and cool
blasting your friend sitting next to you with a turbo throw from about 7 feet away was awesome and probably still is
ESPN NFL 2k5 (rebought it the other day and people still do rosters)
College hoops 2k8
High Heat Baseball (bad graphics but good on field)
NBA street was fun but wouldn’t rebuy it. MVP Baseball is overrated at this point.
In terms of total play time, nothing really comes close to Madden for me. It's always solid, rarely bad but also rarely great.
Even with all of the failed and stupid gameplay experiments over the years, I still love breaking a big run like I did when I first started.
With the correct sliders, Madden is solid this year.
Join the tmb madden league
Would you like to play ken griffey major league baseball on super nintendo? I am currently in the middle of an all star game right now.
NCAA football or Tiger Woods for me
didn’t read the topic but international superstar soccer on n64
Blitz, Jam, and Hitz are such heads and shoulders above the rest of the entries for major sports I feel like it’s not remotely fair.
Anyone suggesting an MLB game, even the Griffey series, should probably be reviewed as a likely candidate for institutionalizing. That shit always blows yo. You know it and I know it. Hell even the gamemakers know it fucking sucks.
I stay have Mario soccer on GameCube tournaments with my nephews and their friends. That game is fucking amazing
NCAA 2009 with McFadden on the cover was my favorite football game
Tiger Woods on PS2 was pure fucking sex too
I've always enjoyed pitching/hitting 1v1 against someone in the same room, and The Show has been awesome in this specific way for like 10 years (as long as your pitcher has 2 fastballs)
People buy ps4s just to play the show
The Show consistently sells less than FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K, and NHL. Do you realize how shitty the gameplay has to be to get outsold by hockey? Sure obviously someone out there keeps buying them or they wouldn’t still make it, but for most of us it’s a disaster palace.
It’s a Sony exclusive game. Ofc it’s gonna sell less than games available on all platforms
even if you aren't into those sports, which i am not, FIFA and NHL have imo been great games for a decade+
honestly i've played a lot of games over the years and none get me more mad than FIFA, particularly the FIFA games from around 2010
Tony hawks pro skater 3. 1080 snowboarding. Madden 94.
Old school Nintendo Tennis was p good.
Exactly. You don’t have to give a shit about hockey or soccer to enjoy those games because they’re actually fun to play.
We're actually full but if anything opens up I'll let everyone know
i think it's fun to pitch to someone in the same room when they have the ability to guess pitches
obviously there's an element of good faith required. it's not very fun when your opponent tries to get you to chase the first 2-3 pitches of every AB and/or just drills your best hitters every time they come up
i still hold a grudge against one of my buddies who constantly threw at Matt Kemp in the version of The Show right after his near-40/40 season and that was like 8 years ago
MLB The Show consistently puts out an outstanding product.
Im not sure if youre retarded or just stupid
NFL Quarterback Club 98
NHL Breakaway 98
NCAA Football 2003, 07, 08
Wayne Gretzky 3D Hockey
