Ohio State didn’t schedule them again until 2006, and we have beaten them 4-0 in games since then. UC has a significant little brother complex when it comes to basketball because they compete with Xavier in town and then have Kentucky, Louisville, and Indiana all within 100-125 miles. Ohio State fans care about BB, but there aren’t any OSU fans who care more about BB than football. UC fans will bring it up, but it’s a series of games from 60 years ago and we’ve dominated the recent games.
Looks like you guys have them 10-6 on Final Fours. I'd bring that up over going 4-0 in recent times. I mean 2 national fucking championships is pretty significant
Most NCAA appearances with no Final Four list is pretty interesting. Top of the list: App. School 29 BYU 28 Xavier 26 Missouri 22 Tennessee, Western Kentucky* 21 Creighton, Utah State 20 Alabama, Saint Joseph's*
rust is a commodity also that comes from decay. how to use ? sell it? as a fix to stuff problems ? buy some decay no problems tomorrow . at the same time getting rid of decay helps with air quality ? uh oh ?
but you would rather just talk ????? its ok you only have so much cerebral capacity. smartest thing ever done bye humanity . giving itself -- hope .
It’s a shoulder shrug any time it’s brought up. No one cares. The only animosity on our side came in the early 90’s because Bob Huggins turned us in to the NCAA for recruiting violations under Randy Ayers. We had a recruit named Damon Flint who Ayers bought a meal and gave a bunch of gear to him. He signed with UC, then informed the NCAA. We landed on a two year probation and post season ban.
think of it this way. sports ? what is sports ? a human pleasure outlet correct ? it allows you to get away and of course you certainly don't want to dwell on bad do you , it s make s time in hell really tuff huh ? so what did you personally learn ? Im crazy or real ? your choice depending on how much you choose to learn , - right ?
Tom Scholz got his Master's in Mech Eng from MIT, and then he recorded most of Boston's debut album himself while also working at Polaroid. iirc, he was p involved in the post-production work for finishing the album.
If you are looking for a competitive advantage while playing tennis... Make a sexy, feminine moan (google if you don’t know what that sounds like) with each swing. It really throws people off their game.
The drummer from Def Leppard has one arm? Also the drummer from RHCP looks exactly like Will Ferrell. Dropping some little known knowledge ITT
Reading this book about the final year of the Civil War. I knew that Grant was a target in the plot to kill Lincoln and others in his cabinet. I didnt know Grant was supposed to attend the play w the Lincolns, but Mary Todd Lincoln was always wet blanket and Grant's wife couldn't stand her. Which is why they decided last minute not to attend the play.
there is something else where the sec of war or navy was supposed to be killed at his house but the assassin that night got cold feet and just briefly kidnapped him or something
There were several who were supposed to be killed. Pretty much the entire cabinet and Andrew Johnson too. William Seward (Sec of State) was the only other person to get attacked.
I mean, they got to him. He was laid up in bed, because he had a concussion, broken jaw from falling off a horse (lol the 1800s were ridiculous). The assassin knocked on his door, posing as a doctor. They let him in and he barged through, made it up to the bedroom and stabbed him a few times before they could pull him off. Seward survived but was pretty messed up.
one of the workers reported how unsafe the conditions were and he got deported the developer is a contributor to the mayor's campaign seems bad
George Carlin filmed a comedy special titled "I Kinda Like It When a Lotta People Die" on September 9th and 10th, 2001 in Las Vegas. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Kinda_Like_It_When_a_Lotta_People_Die They allegedly destroyed the footage, but put out an album of some of the material after he died.
Obviously it was a good idea not to release it in the aftermath of 9/11 but I wish it would have been saved and released the full special years later. At least Carlin didn't try to be an edgelord and release it in that climate then whine incessantly about being cancelled. Jim Jeffries' latest special was almost unbearably whiney about that at points.
TIL : Before toilet paper people would use a wooden knife/edge to wipe their ass Which also gives a little more insight of how the 3 sea shells might work
The difference between North and South Korea dialect use to be negligent but the further we get from the Korean War, the bigger the difference. Not all that surprising. South Korea just 'Koreanizes' westerns words, but North Korea will not. So elevator is the korean form of elevator in South Korea, but in North Korea it's Up Down Machine. Ice cream is Cold Milk Treat
He played 1 year in college, I'm on the east coast, and that was 15 years ago. But yeah it escaped my knowledge til now, or I knew and forgot
Balrog from Street Fighter II was originally named M. Bison on the Japanese version of the game. M. Bison was short for Mike Bison. They thought Mike Tyson might squawk so they switched the name from the boxer to the main bad guy.
Potatoes were once outlawed in France, believing they were unfit to eat, even for the peasants. Once they decided it would be a good food supplement for them peasants, they still couldnt get them to eat or farm them. Solution - they put a guard in front of the potato storages during the day to suggest they were valuable. They pulled him at night, hoping they'd get stolen. Once they were stolen people started to view them as desirable and the french started eating them. Royalty still turned their nose up at them.
