This is the snake thread, no?
I figured it had the best chance of owsley or someone else seeing it and knowing what it was.
So my neighbor just killed this. Anyone know what it is or if it’s venemous?
It’s not venomous
Doesn’t look like it, but it’s a big fucker
Poor Owsley having to see this
If it was that cottonmouth in Owsley's picture, I'd say go for it, but devine's neighbor can enjoy his rodents now that he killed one of the good guys.
That’s what cats are for. To kill both rats and snakes.
Your friend killed a cop, basically
I don’t have friends lol
Was thrilled, found this on our walk
Nice. I coincidently had an Eastern Box Turtle in the yard this morning, slightly larger than that. Found a baby out by the garden the day before. Failed to grab pics of either though :(
Found some porn for Owsley
Owsley ‘s black snake porn is a little different than the rest of ours

Gunnin’ for a Darwin award.
Because it's the south, there's no football on, and cow-tipping is boring.
Owsley found this guy at the fishing hole

Can I lick it and get high?
Be sure to squeeze the parotoid glands first
Visiting Boise with the wife, went to the Bitanical garden and they gave this path in the foothills with native high desert, Idaho native plants.
Turn to my wife before entering, ‘watch the paths, Raddlers could be sunning themselves at this time and we got a few sharp curves coming up.’
50 yards later I turn a corner and see a 2 foot green snake haul ass inbetween the shrubs with the path only a couple feet wide. Jumped like a bitch and turned around.
Did some quick research and it was a racer, not venomous, but I wasn’t about to find out before that time.
That's a Pete Hogwallop
NEVER TRUST A HOGWALLOP
4+ feet long. 2" thick
Went to strike position when I touched the tail and did a fake rattle with it's tail.

Is this your photo? Hognose are such cool, derpy, snakes. Unless you’re a toad...then they suck.

Owsley what do we have here?
Cheaha State Park, probably a little over 4’ long. I poked it to get it to move off our path and it mimicked a rattle. I’m thinking rat snake.
Rat snake is correct!
This guy’s audio is fantastic.
