got to Mittry Lake Wildlife Area north of Yuma around 5 this morning and walked around some trails and off trail and came up empty again I've come to find rattlesnakes are pretty nocturnal and seeing them once it starts to warm up is mostly luck and variance. At least I gotta nice sunrise Spoiler
Went to the botanical gardens this morning and was able to snap a good pic of one of the free roaming Santa Isabel dart frogs in the rainforest exhibit
I was at our showroom showing some doctors equipment and one of the airlines popped off the chair. Found a rat snake in the chair on inspection. Everyone freaked out but I got it and set him outside.
Do any of y’all use any herping hooks or have any recommendations? Would like something collapsible to store in my cart. Finding a decent amount of snakes on the property and want to move them to safety quickly.

well no rattlesnakes this weekend but still saw tons of cool lizards. These dudes are all over the trail in Coronado NF this morning
just a little guy here on the Fay Canyon Trail nice little after-work walk hoping to see something bigger on the way back to the trailhead
