Here I am later in the day and I am literally still upset over one of my favorite comedies. It ruined my day. The world doesn’t make sense anymore.
This is from an article/interview in The beginning of September. Mark Proksch teased a "very disturbing" but "incredibly hilarious" twist involving his character Colin Robinson on this season of "What We Do in the Shadows." Proksch plays the "energy vampire" on the FX comedy, which premiered its third season on Thursday. Colin usually manages to avoid any conflicts with his vampire roommates, but the actor said that there's a "big twist" involving his character at the end of this season. "I know what happens to my character, which is rare on the show. They usually play it pretty close to the vest," Proksch told Insider in a recent interview. According to the actor, the nature of the twist involving Colin was the reason he was made aware of his character's fate ahead of time. "It's going to be very disturbing, I think, for a lot of people," Proksch revealed. "But I think it's also going to be incredibly hilarious, and definitely something that shakes the show up a little bit." "I have no doubt that they're going to kill it when it comes to the writing," he added.
Wtf I love this show and show got caught up and I hate this for poor Colin. Hope he comes back better and more annoying than ever!
So I thought someone in this thread had said that as a theory, but I don’t see it now. It was definitely in my list of possibilities. Not the funniest episode but I fully enjoyed it and I like the fact that they are mixing it up for next season. I trust the writers. the Nandor-Guillermo fight scene was great and Nadja had some amazing reaction lines.
Nothing newsworthy. It just seems like the natural progression after how that season ended. Hard to maintain greatness.
I think there is so much left they can explore. Also in the season ending interviews they implied that they don't have a road map for next season yet. My feeling is that if they were ending the series they would already know how they planned on ending it and they would be clear about it being the last season.
Rewatching S3 and was curious about what Donal Logue is up to after he said he’s got a two episode arch on SVU coming up in the finale and sure enough the son of a bitch was just on SVU a couple weeks ago.
Made me lol Spoiler In his treasure room, when he’s talking to the camera in one scene if you look over his shoulder in the corner he has a dream team poster, Jersey and a pair of the dream team Jordan’s on display
Treating the “boy” like a dog and telling him to sit before devouring Count Chocula cereal out of a dog bowl had me rolling. I haven’t laughed that hard in awhile.
First. Two episodes were great. I had no idea how they would handle the separation and I was glad they just reunited everyone. Kirstin Schall having a bigger role is great.
Has Nandor always been so mis-hearing of words? Ass-butt and iron-gold, maybe another instance. I don’t know if I just never noticed or they stuffed this episode.
This season has been amazing so far, but I can’t pinpoint any one thing. The absurdity of it all is just on another level.
Guillermo’s neck is snapped for realsies? Does Nandor vamp him up now? the announcer was hilarious, “he now appears to be voguing” lol
