i I grew up with the guitar player in this band. His younger brother was a pretty good friend. He was kind of a pretentious douche. Not all the time but most of the time. He did buy us beer when we were in high school. We were at a party one time and he was being a dick. My old roommate who’s a head shorter and skinny as hell wrestled him to the ground once he got challenged one time it was funny as hell. Not a fight or anything just a good old fashion wrestling match.
Yeah they’re good at what they do. I like some of their stuff and I’m happy they’ve gotten as big as they have.
this album's really doing an admirable job of filling that dissonant madness with satisfying payoff void that I crave so much
been digging back into some of my 2017 favorites this week those Ikey De-Loused era sounding keys at the drop RIP
I was planning on going swimming but now there are major thunderstorms rolling in damnit. I hardly ever smoke but I might just pack a bowl and que up this stuff and chill on the couch this evening.
apparently these guys were big in the 90's post-hardcore scene but I only just found out about them a few days ago because I stay on top of things

giving this album another go even though I remember it being pretty meh for the most part, this opening track though
I like that rendition. I’m a huge nerd for Alan Parsons Project though. I think they were a great band. I play their top track list on Spotify regularly. Sometimes whole albums but some of is hit or miss.
This is a good friend of mine. They had some Summer Breeze festival at a local park last night and he had a full band and rocked it. I wish had footage of it but nothing has been posted yet.
I used to be opposed to walking around with headphones on because I wanted to be able to hear my surroundings but a few months ago I got some sweet headphones as a gift and now I walk around listening to Protomartyr all the time. Under Color of Official Right is one of the best albums ever, without a doubt
Nothing like listening to an album on a quality set of headphones. Also agreed and just will add you need to give relatives a better shot. But sign of a great band for me is my favorite album tends to be what I have listened to the least.
Breakbot’s “Baby I’m Yours” popped up on my Cherub Pandora feed and I liked it enough to buy their album By My Side. Got a similar whimsical electro-rock feel of Cherub, with a side of funk. Not bad. Not bad at all. :ahmadinejad:
