Watching some recently uploaded crowd shot '02 Volta show on youtube with what looks to be a cute pixelated redheaded woman on keys and a chubby Claudio from Coheed lookalike on bass (don't worry our boy Jon's in that pocket) and, outside of Cedric's fucking insanely entertaining energy from this era, it's just reminding me how much I originally enjoyed the demo version of Eriatarka. It's one of the three songs I illegally downloaded from Limewire that make up my Volta origin story, I honestly didn't even realize it wasn't the album version for at least a year or so, and it's clean, raw verses will forever be my jam. Do people still say my jam?
og ? well-known member ? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ? shiggy I have been here 10 years before you ? ok dude ?

Gubbs that post was a followup to my longwinded entry prior to your jumping in here, I've got nothing but love for you and your decade seniority man, no need for all of these questions let's just have a good time
only just found out about these guys a few weeks ago and this album is my drug of choice at the moment
RIP Tiger :( Saw them work an early version of this track as an intro to Snow Frog vs Motor Cobra and it was about as great as you'd think it'd be
I'd have difficulty making a top 5 for that albums of the decade thread, but Expanding Anyway would undoubtedly be my #1
*favorite song of all time just came on* probably going to bed soon tbh, pretty glad to not be working tomorrow, or I suppose it'd be today now
I listened to this song twice today, before & after work, thanks to my local college radio station being set to a loop.
