really? iirc all the people in season 1 were pretty shitty. Idk i dont really have an issue with people having flaws. i dont see the issue with the 3 women either. they talk shit about eachother behind their backs. sounds pretty standard to me. Anyways i liked the episode. its too early for me to say if i like the story lines or not, they are gonna twist and turn plenty before everything is said and done id imagine.
They were but not from episode 1 and it was much more subtle, not just being a total asshole like Goggins or being a white collar criminal like Isaacs or mega douche like Schwarzenegger.
I don't think Goggins's character is shitty. He's just damaged goods and not equipped to repair himself. The Ratliff family is the embodiment of the saying that you can run away from your problems, but you can't run away from yourself.
Okay I officially had it with the season 3 theme song. I muted the TV during the episode 2 opening and turned on the Spotify season 2 theme track with my phone.
Malfoy's father began his descent into being a drug attic and Walton Goggins got high then released snakes from cages that should be locked.
last night’s white lotus hits a little differently after learning that Walton Goggins is deathly afraid of snakes irl.
I like that they're starting to give Goggin's character some depth and backstory beyond just a grumpy fucker. He's too good of an actor to be a one dimensional character who never gets fucked up enough to release a few venomous snakes. I love this series, but the acting admottedly runs hot and cold. They can't be afraid to use the ones they have.
Are you referring to the entire series or just this season? I've loved the acting except for a few characters this particular season.
So many B roll shots in every episode, I get the location is beautiful and sometimes its used as a narrative but it's been a lot more than the first two seasons.
It's probably more recency bias with this season now that I think about it. It could also be certain cast members each season outshining the others.
