That's why the NBA changed the rule. Not necessarily because of those two, they were still high picks, but there were a bunch of dumbasses coming out who never had a prayer of getting drafted straight out. Personally, I think if a guy wants to be retarded and go pro before he is ready, have at it, it's a free country. But that's neither here nor there. Carry on
can't put Shaun Livingston on the list. He had a horrendous knee injury that killed his chances of ever doing anything.
Totally agree, the MLB rule is the best imo and the NBA should adopt it
Yea if he had a tenth of the heart of ruettiger he'd have been all american
very true, but even when healthy he just wasn't what i thought he was going to be. telfair style
Vondrae Tostenson - could have been a beastly WR, but decided that the drug game was more important.
i expected that
i can believe livingston can walk normally much less still play in the NBA after that injury
Patrick Dosh. Dude was a fucking monster in the weight room. I went to HS with his younger brother who played tight end at JMU.
One day, we were at AAU basketball practice and Patrick came to pick up his brother and while he was waiting, he decided to shoot around. He went up and dunked the ball so hard a screw popped out of the rim.
oh yeah. he was actually moved to FB his senior year and was pretty good there.
Yeah, he was an incredible athlete. I used to watch him in HS, it was unfair.
yeah, we were SO excited we were getting a QB that Spurrier wanted
NO. Prior to the Livingston injury he was starting to realize his potential more. Hell he was solid in that Clipper playoff run.
Anyway some others that I haven't seen or missed:
Gerald Green (even though he has a chance at redemption following a solid late season run with the Nets last season)
Michael Ray Richardson ( 4 time all-star banned for life by the NBA in 1986) He was on a HOF path.
Eddie Griffin (he could likely fit in as an underachiever as well, but damn he was talented. Such a fucking waste)
