Several RBs could do what Elliot is doing with that line, Hyde for example.
Should be Carr but it won't be. Raiders are nothing without him.
Carr or Brady.
Elliott's a beast, but hard to quantify how much is him versus how much is his OL
Tyron Smith, Zack Martin, & Travis Frederick
One of our 7 Quarterbacks.
Don't the Raiders have a bunch of weapons on offense?
Argument works better for Brady, IMO. Gronkowski is hurt... he's throwing to two white receivers, Bennet, a guy named Mitchell, and one other guy. It's insane that he continues to have these type of seasons with a crew of flunkies.
And they have potentially the DROY on the other side and a really good oline. But Carr is all they have.
most pro bowlers of any team with 7 as well
Garrapolo won 3 out of 4 with the same receivers. It's coaching in New England. Take Carr off the Raiders and let's see their record
Elliot finishes runs and has an aggresive attitude that I haven't seen from an RB in today's injury conscious NFL.
I think it's fair to say he has a tremendous line, but don't discount his aggressiveness, vision, and speed, all of which are certainly a big part of the equation.
He's a fun player to watch, and I hope he stays healthy.
He's really been a big asset for his team.
If you watched the Raiders-Panthers game, that should tell you all you need to know about how valuable Derek Carr is to that team.
The answer is always Tom Brady.
Bellichick is just a system coach.
Carr and it's not close .. coach of the year should be Belicheck, Gase( if the phins win out) or Del Rio.
Prescott and Elliot aren't even the most important players on their offense. Dallas Oline should honestly win the award as a group
Why not Garrett for CoY? 4th pick in draft to best record in league with a rookie QB
Lol at thinking Doug free deserves a part of an mvp
I think the other coaches have been more impressive but if Garret won it I'd have no issues with it. He's done a great job this year
He should get DPOY honors though for sure
I think it should be Derek Carr because I am a homer who cheers for the Raiders.
Who should actually win? Derek Carr.
A lot of people sleeping on the year Matt Ryan is having
Blame the record and the defense imo
David Johnson is the best player in the NFL
I don't know what the fuck happened to the Cardinals
Full blown homer.
Dak and Elliot make the cowboys a blast to watch
Zeke has been great but it's hard to say how much is him. Dallas was top 10 in rushing last year with McFadden being the main back. Zeke has obviously made them better though.
Carr has been very good but come on, comparing him to Brady is silly. Carr is working with much better weapons and has a whopping 3 more TD's than Brady and Brady missed 4 games. Brady has 22 TD's and 2 (TWO!) int's. Carr is 20th in the league in YPA. Brady is 2nd. Honestly, it's not even close between Brady and Carr and that's with Carr working with much better weapons.
Before looking at stats, I would say Brady. After looking at stats, it's Matt Ryan. His numbers are absurd. He's 3rd in yards while being 19th in attempts. He's 1st in YPA by a huge margin (1.1 ypa). To put that in perspective, the gap between Ryan and #2 (Brady) is the same as the gap between #2 and #16 (Hoyer). He's 3rd in TD's while being 19th in attempts. His numbers are off the charts. He's been the best QB in the league this year.
All things considered, Carr.
Ryan and Carr are top 2 for me
Today's NFL being this year? Or...
Didn't Dallas have the same O-Line last year and only win 4 games?
line was better last year. run game was fine. passing game abysmal and defense worse
So Dak is the MVP. Same OL, same Defense only difference is the QB.
Well that and a stud RB.
much better defense, better run game, better receiving threats
Terrance Williams still sucks tho
Same defense and WRs..the D just doesnt have to be on the field all game unlike last season. WRs are literally the same.
Except dez missed half the year last year and zeke is better out the backfield. The defense also added pass rushers and significantly better play from Claiborne when he was healthy and a non rookie Byron Jones
Brice butler has also been big for them at times and we didn't trade him over there until like right at the deadline last year
Why would anyone say Carr over Stafford? Talk about no help.
Stafford has plenty of help. If he didn't they wouldn't have all those wins with like a 25th ranked offense or whatever it is
