I’ve played a bunch of Vic 2 and it’s a lot of fun but Paradox (the developer) has improved a lot since then and I think V3 is going to be insanely good.
Still go thru spurts where I'll become a hobbit and do a game of Civ. I play with my GF sometimes, but she doesn't understand domination victory >>> everything else.
IMO, any conquering that was done by The Historical Jesus should be credited to Saul/Paul. Christianity wouldn't have even reached regional status without The Pauline Letters.

They had technical advantage because no one could use the weapons they used or could ride like they could. They were just better and stronger than everyone which puts them on top of the list. Alexander was a hack compared to Genghis
Dudes the Khanate shaped the whole trajectory of Russia and the Abbasid Caliphate. Plus the Mongols probably introduced the plague to Europe. Undefeated.
Khan could send 5 different armies out to fight on different fronts and be coordinated enough to meet up months later together in a spot 1000 miles away to conquer someone.
Victoria is definitely less involved in terms of the micro of battles. It's much more of a diplomacy/economy/alliance based game, with some aspects of war. Hearts of Iron is Paradox's WW2 simulator that's a little more battle/attack oriented (while still keeping aspects of supply chain/development).
Lol he didn’t conquer any continents. A small part of Europe, a tiny part of Africa, and 5% of Asia? The Eastern Roman Empire didn’t conquer two continents just because their capital was along the Bosporus Strait.
