I feel like I will probably play through the campaign once and be done with it, I don't really get into the multiplayer. Don't know if I really want to spend $60 for a game I'm going to play through once. Anyway, who all is going to get GOW3 tomorrow?
Working nights all week so I can't pick my copy up til Friday but I can't fucking wait. Love the multiplayer and thought the BETA was pretty fucking good. Anyone that wants to run through the co-op campaign or run some multiplayer hit me up.
Well, if you thought 2 was horrible then you probably aren't going to want my opinion because I loved 2. Thought 2 was better than 1.
I played the beta and it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than 2. I have 3 and I'm currently installing it to my hard drive.
Flash grenades were the dumbest fucking thing. Anyone else really enjoy playing Horde in 2, that was by far my favorite part of 2. Got my copy coming this afternoon from Amazon.
Forgot about that they were really dumb too. Don't they have grenades that come up from underground this year those sound like they could be a huge hit or miss.
I beat the campaign earlier this morning and that final boss battle is a complete bitch if you play on a difficulty higher than normal. I haven't tried online play yet, but my buddy and I beat the first 12 rounds of beast mode where you play as the locust on a horde type game mode, and it is by far my favorite to play at the moment.
Online play is significantly better than GoW2. Although I think I'm going to dislike the saw-offed and the bayonette lancer.
Love 3 so far. Sawed off is pretty shitty but it is what it is. Hopefully they ban it for gamebattles. Beastmode is really fun too, nothing beats just wrecking shit with a Beserker
Would be really cool in Beastmode if you played actual people online. Like you were just random characters from the wave trying to kill actual people playing as humans
