One brings lots of rain or snow and wind and the other is a dog with breathing problems. Correct, it’s laughable.
Murray should win. Tua's strongest argument was his efficiency and the SEC Championship game performance cost him that. There's no substantial statistical advantage he has over Murray now except for slightly fewer interceptions. Sucks for Tua that he got injured at a bad time, but it is what it is. He'll have next year with mostly the same cast to try again.
That OSU quarterback put on a clinic last night. I know it was northwestern but damn he put every pass in the exact right spot.
I think getting injured saved him. If he threw another couple shitty passes and Bama lost he would be done. Haskins beats him out in completion percentage, yards, TD's..... Hurts coming in and playing just as good in multiple games shows that Bama is a great team, not that Tua is head and shoulders the best player in CFB.
Murray should win it. i'm just surprised at how little pub Haskins is getting. he's the best qb to ever come through OSU and set a ton of B1G records. ESPN did a short yesterday on the heisman and didnt even mention Haskins.
I had just heard on the radio that a bunch of money went in on him over the season to the point where houses removed it. Obviously more knowledgeable people like yourself would speak to it.
I was genuinely curious on what your thought was. Because they've got the field on any bet, they're never going to get crushed on a future bet like the Heisman. But, I would think they would take more of a loss with a guy winning who had longer odds all year -- i.e., more money to pay out than came in. I guess that having such a "sure thing" all year could draw more money into the bet than usual years, though, which would make them more money.
