Mac went for 300 and 2 TD with no turnovers yesterday against one of the better pass D's in the league and he was just ok and its really just the scheme.
Tua is now 8th in the league in QBR behind the worst OL in the NFL, one of the worst running games, and lackluster options at WR aside from a rookie. Seems to me the Dolphins should invest in the QB they have and get some players around him rather than getting in the QB sweepstakes again.
Really starting to worry about bro and Corch … They used to post itt constantly but has anyone checked on them lately to make sure they’re ok?
It's certainly possible, but honestly I don't think Corch would stoop to the level of actually claiming Tennessee. Takes a real degenerate to admit that publicly.
Josh Allen is #2 in MVP odds and the Bills beat them a combined 61 to 11 this season. Congrats on Tua stringing two competent games together for the first time in his career and reaching 5-7.
I only caught a few plays but had a really nice ~20 yd throw to Waddle and then that TD throw on the bootleg was a perfect throw
lots of dinking and dunking, and Miami is still only scoring 2.25 offensive TDs per game during this 4-game stretch run. With the above said, he did have some nice throws in this game. Those referenced by Antwone, but also the 17-yard throw to Gesicki to (pretty much) seal it. Perfectly lofted over the LB. Dolphins have a bye and then the Jets. Dolphins should be 7-7 heading into NO, Tennessee, and NE.
***this post is not discrediting Tua in any way*** This is hilarious how they say since 1950 but also minimum 30 pass attempts each game. Like teams were throwing 30+ passes a game back then.
I think the 30+ pass attempts makes it more impressive. I’m sure there are plenty who have accomplished it with 10-20 attempts per game.
You’re missing my point. By limiting it to 30+ pass attempts, it’s silly to say since 1950. Obviously no one did it with 30+ pass attempts in the 50s. They weren’t even throwing that many passes.
Tua is even better than I thought if he's moving this dreadful offense and his best WR is a check down safety valve.
i’m guessing they passed it 30 times a game back then because even a 50% completion rate was a good performance. now, all teams are in the 60s and football legends like Tua live in the 70% range
